What I was told was, it was after the players made that video with the trophy etc. They all went out that night. They booked booths somewhere, table service etc. Later on, they started to mingle a bit, approach the bar etc.
The landlord nipped it in the bud & shut it down early.
I don’t know about post St Johnstone, surely we’d have seen some photos.

This could be bad news for the Scottish game. Due to the current School exam fiasco Sturgeon will be looking to move the media attention on to more safer ground for her.
There is no way you can pass the blame onto Sturgeon if the games shut down, no matter how much you hate her. This is on the players breaking the rules and the clubs who clearly aren’t taking it seriously enough.

I don't fully understand what's happened here. The story suggests the Celtic player went on holiday to Spain last week, returned and came on as a subbie on Sunday.
Did Lennon not notice Bolingoli, a six footer with a mop of dyed blond hair, was skipping training?

This is beyond a fucking joke now, how fucking dumb is this guy? Celtic and Aberdeen need to be punished heavily and they can then take their wrath out on the players themselves afterwards. All this on top of Leigh Numpty Griffiths fucking big birthday party celebrations too.
This season will not make match day 4 at this rate! There was a Twitter rumour Utd players were out on the piss after the St.Johnstone game. Not sure we can get too high and mighty or call for the clubs to be hammered if that's the case.
I have a feeling the Scottish Government will be laying down the law to all Premiership clubs tomorrow however.
Players need to use their heads at the moment.
Players found breaking these guidelines agreed between spfl and the government should be fucking hammered and that includes ours
Fucking idiots will get it stopped.

Some saying the players were giving days off in the lead up to killie game. Unsure if thats true or not.

I'm wondering if Celtic were trying to ship him out to a Spanish club, and were fully aware he was abroad.

There’s no flucking chance supporters are going to get back mid September now.

take your point but surely they are actually unrelated. Fans going back would come under socially distant entertainment. Players being idiots over and above that could see the whole league stopped.
So no league > no fans anyway but if entertainment is allowed, why should football be any different because of a few employees who are on the pitch and away from fans?
Shouldn't be impacted but can see how the fans might be the losers if the government decides that's the appropriate way to punish clubs.

I doubt very much that's the case, just can't see them making such a huge fuck up

Since the schools were mentioned in this thread, you cannae punish the whole class for the misbehaviour of a few.
The SFA/SPFL should have put more forceful penalties in place for individuals and clubs, but they've backed off with every potential decision, from Sevco, to the Sheep and now to Celtic.
If the season is paused, which I think would be incredibly inconsistent of whoever puts that in action, it's down to the football authorities and the arrogance of the miscreants.

Well Pat, at our school there was Omertà. We all got punished to protect the identity of the guilty.
Points deduction is the only language that the clubs will understand. The SPFL/SFA need to be come involved...…..oh wait a minute !

I think Celtic will make an example of him. Probably played his last game for them. I hope that now draws it all to an end and we can get on with the football.

Sturgeon just postponed both Celtic and Aberdeen's games this week.

Not sure she has the power to do that, but certainly can't see either saying no for the midweek game and they play each other at the weekend so that is an easy one. Think we might yet see the SPFL/SFA handing out suspensions for players so I expect the clubs to confirm that sanctions have been taken against players stepping out of line. I also think that Boli will be offski.

Any players breaching the rules should be hit with 6 game bans and those bans should not include any games during time they have to isolate for.

Same when I was at school Fidel. But times have changed.
Disappointed but not stunned with the tough stance taken by the SG in football's case.
I'm not supportive of the players and clubs involved, who the football authorities should have immediately dealt with, but both the SFA and SPFL showed themselves up to be lax and unprepared for these almost predictable situations, and maybe left the SG with little choice.
The three biggest clubs in Scotland have helped make an arse of it for the rest of us, and I wonder if the football authorities would have been more proactive if Ross County, Livingston and St Mirren had been the clubs involved.

Punishment should come to both clubs for this.
Agreed, but there also have to be very serious repercussions for the players involved. No slaps on the wrists, our national game is at risk because of these imbeciles. Serious bans and financial penalties need to be imposed, if not by the clubs then by the governing bodies. I believe the Celtic player may also be in line for a police investigation for failing to comply with quarantine regulations?

Lennon thinks the postponement of their games is a fair punishment, oh really Neil? So what about St mirren, St Johnstone and fucking Accies? Did they all deserve fair punishment too?
Fucking nonsense, get them punished properly, clubs have to bear the responsibility too!

If anyone had any doubts about the feeble management of Scottish football by the SPFL/SFA they must have been dispelled by their Coronavirus Joint Response Group deciding the best way to deal with the major clubs and their players ignoring guidelines is to stop the likes of Forfar, Queen of the South and Edinburgh City training until at least 24th August.
Spineless cunts.
