Couldn't resist the comparison given you seemed to be a little behind the 'news' but had worded it in the vernacular.  Living in Edinburgh now I do enjoy hearing and seeing the hometown lingo now and again and you can't help reading it as it's written - which brightens my day - so don't take the post as slagging off the Oary, it was more slagging off your timing

Motherwell head of Media:

This isn’t true. We are not on Sky. Game is at 3pm as billed on our pay-per-view service.

So where the fucks the idea come from then? Sky surely have to consult clubs before making announcements

We played 5 at the back last week (if we're including the wing backs).  What game were you watching pal?

He might be referring to how we finished the game

I think unless something official from the clubs come out, we should assume its 3pm kick-off with Motherwell PPV the only way to watch it.

The only place this was mentioned was the girl on Sky Sports news saying we'd be the live game... I think we all know how reliable Sky are when it comes to Scottish football. Probably thought they could just chuck a game about and then Motherwell and the SPFL have said 'nae chance'.

Just to be clear, that was only my assumption - haven't heard anything.  However, my guess is that Sky will be able to demand a game and if they have chosen this one then they'll get their way.  After all there isn't really any reason that they can't pull it forward.  I'm going to hold out on buying the Motherwell PPV until it is defo confirmed.

Whatever suits you mate.  I'd say 3 personally.

Like yourself, I'd like to see Bolton start. Looked a menace when he came on last week.  Can take on a man and his delivery was decent too.

I'd love to see Bolton start but he may end up on the bench. I too thought he looked very dangerous, strong on the ball and whipped in a  couple of good crosses.

So basically, a Sky Sports News presenter said we'd be live on TV. Suddenly every person and their dog on Twitter posted that we were live on Sky with a 12.30 ko. But this wasnt confirmed anywhere.

Then the Motherwell Media guy said this wasnt correct, and PPV was only way to watch.

Since then, Motherwell, United and SPFL have all posted with the game listed as 3pm ko. So I'd assume it's Motherwell TV until anything changes via official club channels.

Was a few hours ago the wumin said it on SS news and as of yet nothing has been said from either club to back this up.

Only a tweet from the head of media and comms at Motherwell to say its not on Sky.

Shambles.

I've just checked the sky schedule and there's no game listed instead of the Aberdeen one. I'd imagine there may be some negotiations taking place as we speak.

Not sure what you're on about.

The 1230pm response was for Arabdownsouth post from the bottom of the previous page. but my esteemed friend Bowers beat me to it, a but of a crossed line in the modern context.

I mentioned the 8 Aberdeen players being in the boozer and the Johnnies match postponement because nae chunt else had. Thought it would be of interest, as to kinda help explain the Sky situation. That was only released to the press at 1220.
