Feck hearts especially but feck thistle too.
To protect themselves, they were prepared to cause united serious amounts of harm. Whether its not knowing where we are financially or meaning players were wary of signing for us because we could be a championship team or for taking our manager who immediately tried to poach our best central midfielder...or even taking the gloss off of our successful season in an already strange time.
And to think budgie thinks hearts have been treated badly.
Horrible dirty club. I wish nothing but bad luck for the coming season. To be honest hearts are lumbered with over paid underachieving players who will not fancy the scottish championship much and a manager who relied on shankland to gain promotion, despite an embarrassment of riches.
It won't be easy for them either. ICT, dunfermline and the dee are all reasonable teams and know what the championship is all about.
I hope we can put it behind us and move on to preparing for a new season
Thank fuck that's over and we can 100% focus on the season ahead. I don't think there was ever any chance that we'd have to stay in the Championship but it's definitely had an impact on our preparations.
Roll on Saturday.

I feel a bit of sympathy for Thistle fans. I don't for Hearts - just like they were when they were enjoying the Lithuanian funny money without looking behind it they have bought Budge's moaning hook line and sinker and she has failed them big time. Any sympathy for them disappeared a long time ago.
I'm hoping though that the rest of the clubs draw a line under this and they forget about the breach of the rules for going to court, after recovering costs of course.

Phuk Thistle also.
May I also add, fuck the Huns and the Dees who were all foaming at the mouth over this too!
Very good post ADS. I also say Phuk the Huns and the Fun.
Hertz are going to boycott away gehms. Ha ha , who does that remind you of. Hopefully no compensation for them also.
Apparently fuck all compensation too! 😂 Jambos Kickback is going to be my entertainment choice for the day I think, some splendid stuff on there including one guy who is praying for a second wave of covid to wipe out all the clubs who brought this on them 🤔

Totally agree with this.
The whole debacle has taken the gloss of our Championship win and undoubtedly hampered our preparations for the season.
No compensation, court cost and impending fine - not a great start to life in the lower leagues.
A great start to the eeek, being in the young guy from City and perhaps another one or two and we will be ready for our return to the big league.
Roll on Saturday 😃

Sorry Finn, got to say I'm still hoping for the book to hit them both squarely in the puss!

I think we are all entitled to feel that, but let's take the moral high ground here - we know that they'll hate that more...

The book has already been thrown at them by the SFA. Hearing in a couple of weeks is it not?

Agreed - had they followed the rules (Rather than playing at Billy Bigbaws) then this would have been avoided.
For those jambos who also think its 'corrupt' (Copyright jambos kickback) - you picked one of the 3 who decided it is BS. Nae joy - enjoy Morton away

For anybody interested, a very well written Club statement from Cove Rangers.(Edit to say, its very similar to the united one...)
CLUB STATEMENT27/07/2020
CLUB STATEMENT
COVE Rangers, Dundee United and Raith Rovers have decisively won a challenge by Heart of Midlothian and Partick Thistle (collectively, ‘the Petitioners’) in which they had sought to reverse our club’s promotion to the SPFL League One.Cove Rangers welcomes the decision of the Arbitral Tribunal (the “Tribunal”) which was issued today on the following terms: “The tribunal appointed in terms of Scottish Football Association Article 99 issued its decision today. It unanimously held that the challenges to the Written Resolution of 15 April 2020 failed, and that the SPFL were entitled to pass, and give effect to, the Written Resolution and all that flowed from it. Accordingly it refused to grant any of the orders sought by Heart of Midlothian FC and Partick Thistle FC and continued the arbitration for submissions about expenses.”The effect of the Tribunal decision is that Cove Rangers WILL be an SPFL League One club for Season 2020/21.
Our participation in the legal proceedingsOver the last six weeks, questions were raised as to why we felt it necessary to actively participate in this matter. Whilst legal proceedings were ongoing, we considered it inappropriate to comment or respond in detail. We can now advise of the reasons for our participation.Firstly, the Court of Session petition was formally served on us as ‘respondents’ (defenders). Indeed, it was the Petitioners who specifically named us as one of the respondents. The service copy petition was accompanied by an order of the court stating that any answers (defences) on our behalf were to be lodged within seven days. Secondly, the primary ‘remedy’ sought in terms of the petition was, in effect, to prevent promotion and relegation across the entire SPFL in the 2019/20 SPFL season. That would have deprived us of the promotion we had fought so hard to secure last season. We were not prepared to stand by and watch the achievements of our League Two winning squad being undermined in that way.Thirdly, the nature of the claim advanced by the Petitioners included matters which the SPFL itself, as the company at the centre of the claim, was not in a position to fully address. Specifically, the motivations of member clubs when voting to bring the season to an early conclusion could only be fully addressed by members clubs.
To be clear, we had absolutely no desire to enter into costly legal proceedings raised by the Petitioners. Like any responsible organisation or business served with notice of legal proceedings, we sought and obtained specialist legal advice. On considering that advice, we concluded that we had to enter the proceedings to protect our position. Any suggestion that we entered proceedings without justification or to stoke division is both unjustified and insulting. The new seasonWe are pleased that today’s decision by the Tribunal brings this matter to a close, not just for us but for the whole of Scottish football.
A note of thanksWe would like to thank Garry Borland QC, and our external solicitors, Lindsays, who provided invaluable advice and representation throughout the entire process. Most importantly, to our supporters who raised funds - we thank you for your unconditional loyalty and support during this difficult period. To reiterate and conclude, Cove Rangers WILL be an SPFL League One club for Season 2020/21 and can now start planning with certainty and look forward to an exciting new experience for the club.

I'm feeling quite emotional if I'm honest.
Read the statement on the official which, as already noted above, is written from the heart (excuse the pun).
Time for us as a team and support to move on and enjoy our rightful place in the Premiership.
And the sooner it's safe to return to Tannadice the better, so the real party can begin.

I'm hopeful that the massive lift from this will spur us on at the weekend, shame its not in front of fans as I reckon there would be some fucking noise in the stadium! A few fuck Hearts chants would go down well too, ah well 3 points and 4 goals from Shanks will have to do 😋

Pretty much sorted by lunchtime looking at the timing of the journalists early indication. Surely to fcuk they could have wrapped this up on Friday night rather than it rumbling on over the weekend? Unless of course they were discussing over the weekend.

What a relief that is. Really looking forward to Saturday now to our first premier league game in over 4 years!!

It's all very simple. Hearts, Partick and Stranraer being relegated was not 'fair'. But it was also not 'illegal'.
Mon United

What a shame we can’t all be at Tannadice to celebrate this Saturday

Jambo Kickback is fantastic reading right now. A splattering of posters who seem to be grudgingly accepting of things and pointing the finger at Budge and Levein etc. Many just don't get it and lots talking about boycotting everyone bar ICT. They all forget they voted for this themselves and then Budge realised what she had done...and has been digging the hole deeper ever since.

Agree with you on this Finn, although there are Jambos who have a wee bit sympathy from me too.
Draw the line, and get on with the football.

There's one hoping for a second covid wave to wipe out the rest of the clubs ffs, and another wanting to send out a youth team in the semi final to snap a few legs!
Deary me 🙄

Doesn't surprise me - they're not that different to their weegie cousins
