I'm more worried about the impact this has on our season re delays on signings than I have of us actually not being in the Premiership. Absolute fucking nightmare to be honest. Sick of it.

I'm worried on both counts tbh, although I reckon the spfl would have to force through reconstruction in the event of promotion being cancelled or face another court case from ourselves and our fellow 'respondents'

I wonder if Lidl's down south stock chocolate mousse 6 packs Ads?
Worth a look and if they don't, do try to resist giving the dairy section a pounding!

You're already banned from Aldi.

Also, I think you mixed me up with someone else 😉

On HoM website, today:

"JOINT CLUB STATEMENT
27th June 2020

Along with the other 40 SPFL clubs, Hearts and Partick Thistle have received a letter, signed by Neil Doncaster, that relates to the forthcoming Court case.

It is wrong and much of its content is misleading and the timing itself questionable, we are currently awaiting legal advice on what needs to happen next."

Hard faced cunt that Budge moaning about fucking timing! Waited until after all the reconstruction bollocks failed before arguing against the vote, then poaches our manager and as expected the coaching staff too in the middle of world war 3 between the two clubs! Get her right to fuck!

Is anyone surprised by her response never seen anyone more do as i say and not as i do.

Doesn't want to see anyone worse off but happy to screw over the clubs promoted.

Asks people at the club to take pay cuts permanently but can find money for compensation for a manager.

The only question is does anyone actually believe anything that comes out of her mouth?

I've been tuned in, for obvious reasons I won't discuss the case. The judge has just suggested it could run on until Friday though.

Stinks,

They are only establishing whether the court has jurisdiction to hear the dispute still.  We aren't even on to the dispute itself yet - which may not happen if the decision is that it needs to go to the SFA's arbitration procedure first.  In which case, Hearts and Thistle will have a difficult decision to make as to whether they go for an interdict to delay the start of the season.  They do that then they'll lose any friends they still have in the Prem.

Re: Legal Action: Joint Club Statement

Has there ever been an instance where a party who has signed and accepted the articles of their sporting body have refused to abide by the decision of the body whose decisions they are bound to uphold ?    (and wished to remain part of that body !! )      Not a snowballs I would think.

The extenuating circumstances of Covid being Hearts argument.

Has there ever been an instance whereby the affected party Hearts has accepted the original decision ? - Then been allowed to chair a panel to come up with an alternative that would 100% suit them. - The scheme they've come up is in turn derisory and rejected.

(All the more derisory given they've accepted their manager was shite given him hiff and poached the manager of the team they are in direct opposition with in the Courts. - Fuck you Robbie )

They then proceed to basically take the game to Court.

Fuck you Budge, fuck you Hearts, worse than Huns.

Farcical.
The obscene amount of money these QC's etc make could have been spent on keeping some struggling SPFL lower league teams in existence. The aftermath of the case will be futile too*, 'what was all that about?' will be the call.
It's reminiscent of when Boris was at his proroguing best there was court after court, case after case. The lawyers got fatter on thousands of pounds a day - for what, he was found out but **** all happened & the bungling idiot survives to 'lead' our nation today.
I despair.

* we hope

Re: Legal Action: Joint Club Statement

To be fair it will be the best £2K per day that we've spent in the last decade if he succeeds in getting the Hertz/Thistle case chucked.  I also know Garry pretty well - to call him a fat lawyer is highly amusing - he's normally painfully thin!
