Hearts caretaker. Played 2 lost 2
Falkirk. Relegated
Coventry. Started 10th, sacked in the relegation zone
Fleetwood. Avoided relegation
Pafos. Sacked sitting 2nd bottom
Carlisle. Sacked in relegation place

How can he even call himself a football manager?

He rules himself out despite no cunt wanting him anyway, class! 🤣

Agreed. Plus I doubt he was even on any kind of list that Asghar would have made in terms of targets.

Tony Asghar?
Of course it's a no-no but that's all I'm saying....

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

Cunts still bitter because we appointed Jackie over him.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

Are we sure Robbie never got the sack?
Alan Patullo in The Scotsman telling that he won ONE of his last NINE games.
I'd to double check & it is of course correct.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

From some of the names thrown about so far and the top 15 or so on the bookies lists, the ones who hit me as having the 'potential' to be good appointments, and all for some different reasons are:

Tommy Wright, Barry Robson, Gary Holt, Nigel Clough, Stephen Robinson

None of the others are appealing in any way. I hope we make the right decision. What a massive appointment this is.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

Tommy Wright to be interviewed for the Northern Ireland job this week apparently.

He wouldn't get the assistant manager with the Violet

Agreed, every managerial appointment is massive. But with the position we are in and stability we've built up with the squad, the fan engagement, we need someone to come in and CONTINUE the work we've been doing, not turn it round. Not always an easy thing to do.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

Question to you all

Next manager what route do you think we’ll go down, tried and tested experienced manager or a younger manger??

I’ve got a feeling it will be a younger manager with little to know experience as a head coach, can see a boys like robson, rankin or a Lee mcculloch getting it! Thoughts

Also heard a name yesterday from dads pal,  Stephen glass currently at Atalanta 2

Honestly not got a clue. Robson is an interesting one for me but it would all depend on who his backroom staff would be. If McCulloch and Forrest were to remain at the club, it could be a good fit.

However, if we see all of the backroom staff depart with Neilson, I'd like to see an experienced manager come in, ie Tommy Wright.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

I think you can over-egg the pudding.
This bringing in your TWO best mates is a racket.
A manager & one assistant should be fine.
I think that is what has happened with us, too many f'n Cheifs.
Well, one in particular.
Read Jim McInally  on BBC Scottish Football, between the lines.
And read TA in the Courier, no real love lost there beween him & RN?
I think interviewees for our job might be enquiring about autonomy.

Wright is the SkyBet odds on favourite for the N. I. job.

We know that Ogren trusts Asghar implicitly, so I would bet there will be a Manchester Met and/or Rangers connection. My guess would be McCulloch or Weir.

One other thing we will find out from the appointment, is, how much money Ogren has left. I think it's going to be the "exciting young manager" (cheap).

If it's Barry Ferguson, I'm chucking it.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

Davie Weir getting the hearts sporting director job so It won’t be him.

I doubt Tommy Wright (Or any manager with half a set of baws) would want to work with a DOF. Neilson was a yes man and I think sadly we’ll appoint another.

Can't see them being daft enough to consider Barry Ferguson, Spongebaz Squarepass as someone previously named him.

You couldn't muster a worse clusterfuck of an appointment for a Dundee United manager.

Re: Who would you want as new Manager?

"If it's Barry Ferguson, I'm chucking it" would have to go with someone who would be more popular with the fans. What's Gary Glitter doing these days?

I also don't do managers who talk in the third person e.g. Danny Lennon

Hang on a minute, Ivan Golac is only 70. I'm sure he would come out of his Viennese retirement and move to Dundee. Maybe bring Gordan Petric with him.
