To respond to question about everyone sticking heads above parapet I can't speak for everyone but to me if Uglies reserves were to come in lower leagues start them in bottom tier. Which indeed brings money into 4th 3rd and Championship as they inevitably progress upward. However this progression upward would deny promotion to others. This would in turn extend the existing inequity that plagues our game.

Personally in all honesty I'm well and truly below the parapet where Sevco are concerned - I hate the bastards.

All a moot point as you'll never get agreement.

As to which structure - fucked if I know - just get on with it.
But to me you can't have a restructuring at the arse end of an interupted season. It has to be transparent agreed up (without any nefarious Nelson crap) before the start of the season so's everyone knows what they're playing for.

So Hearts and Partick now teaming up to chase legal action. Fans of other clubs on Twitter now saying that if they win that league will be null and voided. Straw clutching at its finest.

i know very little about how all of this works but I would imagine that all they can do at this stage is claim compensation on the back of this legal action. Any changes to current league setup or the outcome of 19/20 is surely impossible and would only then lead to further legal cases from clubs like Celtic, United etc.

The pair of them already cast their vote to end the season. Not sure how thistle voted, against I would imagine, but Hearts voted in favour of it so I've no idea what their legal challenge is based on?

Is it too late for redemption? As the money which arrived in the form of a donation flows into the game, it seems more will be going out via paybacks to the tv companies for disruption of their product.

To avoid the ongoing shite, potential court cases and further disruption, does anyone think the spfl should forcefully attempt to bring in a 14/14/14 structure for the next few seasons?

Partick Thistle, Hearts and Stranraer. Add Falkirk and ICT also, everyone of these clubs would have voted against reconstruction if they hadn't been directly affected. They can call out the 26 clubs all they want but the fact is, everyone of them would have voted for their own selfish interests too had the shoe been on the other foot.

NO. why would they? The spfl are the clubs. The clubs voted NO.

Also, im not sure if the jambos or jags have a leg to stand on. Is it not in the spfl rules, or whatever they are called that they can call a halt to a league due to unprecedented circumstances?

And as a wee side note it bothers me that fans of other clubs hae a go at Brechin saying they are in an automatic relegation spot. They aint. Theyre in a play off spot.

Just had to get that last bit off my chest haha
