Re: Lawrence Shankland interview

Theres a video with an American soccer coach and they are talking about Kenny Mclean going to the English championship then moving up to the Prem and he says thats a route he hopes he can take. Doesnt distill my belief that he'll be here next season. But if he keeps doing what he does then from Jan onwards it will be 100mph and very likely he'd be away summer 2021

Re: Lawrence Shankland interview

Braw lad.

Mind ae the 2v1 game against Arbroath,  saved us that day & picked up booking for celebrating.
Another game - cannae mind which,  was one o the shitey end of "season" draw games, shitting maself in case opposition stole it.
Bottom of hill, up he pops to save the day.
Love that workrate,  love the goals. Love the level headedness o'him.

Hang on to him Mr Ogren

Great article on Shanks:

https://www.albamatter.com/post/what-s-in-a-goal-scorer-lawrence-shankland

Not that we needed reminding, but it really highlights how GOOD this guy actually is.

The Coronavirus has been absolutely horrific. But one tiny little positive that might come out of this shutdown and uncertainty might just be the fact that he might still be wearing the Tangerine jersey come August. What a boy.

Re: Lawrence Shankland interview

Interesting they compare him to Ally McCoist. I've never thought about it before but that is a very good comparison. They also compare him to Lewandowski... obviously different levels but he is that 'type' of player. You dont realise how much ability they actually have until you watch them closely on a number of occasions.

Re: Lawrence Shankland interview

All of the above.

Some goals you wonder how he did it. Even the goal he splaffed againot Partick he did the basics right & kept the ball down.

He tracks back deep and not just helps out but helps out solidly.

Got it all.

Hope we don't lose him for stupid Covid discount money although I think Ogren 's are more up for the long run.

My daughter is 25 today also, born on the very same day as Lawrence of Arabia, even her name sounds relatively similar lol. I felt it was an omen last season and that's how it panned out, hoping for more of the same this season too. Happy birthday sweetheart, oops! 😂
