Budge is arguing that no club should suffer because of the situation, then tries to throw Clyde, Peterhead and Forfar Athletic into the bottom league, along with Stranraer who they claim to be sympathetic with and who could escape relegation. She also wants to stop Cove Rangers getting promoted, while denying the chance of play off promotion to Edinburgh City, Elgin City and Cowdenbeath, in the play off positions right now. Queen's Park, Stirling Albion and Annan Athletic are also just outside these places, while as very long shots Stenhousemuir and Albion Rovers could go on unheard of runs to propel themselves into the play offs.

I make it that, potentially, 13 clubs could be worse off with her proposal.

And Inverness CT could have been overtaken by Dundee or Ayr, perhaps even Arbroath. Why do they get the reward of promotion? A 'thank you' to Scot Gardiner perhaps?

She's wasting everyone's time.

It need 11 Prem clubs in favour to make it happen.
So two opposers is enough to bring it down.
I doubt if there will even be two Prem clubs that support it.

According to the Daily Record this morning, Doncaster now suggesting that unless reconstruction goes ahead then according to league rules the new season will have to start on time and all games will need to be completed or clubs will face massive penalties.

So the fact that this season wasn't completed and no one was penalised by the spfl for not completing their games has already slipped his memory?

Common sense Neil please? Or is this just strong arm tactics trying to force the reconstruction through?

I'm completely bored of the whole thing now and cannot wait for Anne Budge to slink back off to her fucking corner!

It's nonsense.

League rules could easily be ammended to help clubs out. As you said, this season wasn't completed. You really do get the feeling they make it up as they go along.

The reconstruction talks will fail and rightfully so. Clubs should not be bullied into voting for something they are not happy with.

Time for Doncaster + Co to earn their money. Stop wasting everyone's time. Get proper plans in place for next season which would include either a later start or smaller list of matches for lower league teams to fulfill or both.

Have proper talks with the Scottish Government about how we get fans back in our stadiums over the next few months.

Said it for years we should move to summer football.

This was the ideal opportunity to do just that. I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned once by anybody in the game.
If we can restart August then should just have some made up special tournament till December then restart properly in March when we should be able to do it properly with crowds etc.

I'm all for Summer Football and the Scandinavians have been doing it for years so there's a model to adopt. It's not like Scotland has to worry about qualifying for tournaments!
