After the 3rd went in was an amazing feeling. Have to lose to savour the wins.
In hindsight, probably the perfect match from an Arab's point of view.
Goalless for just long enough for some minor anxiety to begin creeping in then an explosion of relief at Goodie's goal then increasing celebrations with each of Conway's goals.
Like Beharder says, living through the defeats and even the torture of '94 made this all the sweeter.

Best ever day as a United supporter and easily one of the best days and nights of my life. The feeling at Conway's second goal was absolutely unrivaled. His celebration for that goal will always be iconic. The footage of that match never fails to make me feel emotional. Its everything that football is about. I just pray we get a day like that again sometime soon.
Something in my head tells me that Robbie might just bring a trophy home for us one day (asides from the Championship title that he is still to lift).

The thing making it special for me that day was the amount of young fans in attendance, 16 years on from the '94 win, who had never seen United lift a major trophy. My son had been too young to go to the Rangers final, but to have him there with us added to the occasion for me, and there must have been many other in the same position, particularly as the club had gone through some difficult times in between the two cup win.
And we'll get another day like that one, for all the youthful United supporters who haven't seen us lift silver. Yet........................

What a day, remember sitting level with the goal line and I still swear Goodies chip happened in slow motion for me. Mightve been the dozen drinks beforehand that caused that right enough 😂
10 years since I first donned the Morphsuit, and 10 years tomorrow since I used the original alias on United Mad. Still got it, until the next final...

I had a really shit 2010, marriage broke down and lost my mother to cancer a few months apart, but for one glorious day in the Hampden sunshine among 28000 fellow Arabs I got to put all my pain aside. I don't mind admitting to getting completely fucking annihilated that night (and the next!) fucking fantastic day! 👍

The back row's looking a bit hefty is it not?
Broths of boys!
Or is it just the camera angle?
