I have seen a lot of people mentioning the rest of the season getting played behind closed doors and possibly getting streamed on Arab zone. I might be wrong but isn't there a law against that because of TV rights etc? I m sure no three o clock League game can be shown live in the UK. Anyone know for certain?
This could be the reason Arab zone only streams live sat games to fans overseas. If this is the cause there possibly could be away around this. Government exemption for a few months, or maybe sky and bt sport doing a small deal with football teams own TV channels. Hopefully make Arab zone more watchable, as the camera is very far from the pitch.
Not sure what the soultion is but if this Coronavirus situation doesn't improve soon, teams will go to the wall. Closed doors games streamed for a fee could be the only saviour. It still doesn't even answer the question of what season ticket holders would get to make up for missing games their have already paid for.

I read yesterday that if indeed 'behind closed doors' games take place and are live streamed by clubs in the UK to UK customers then they won't be able to do so at 3pm on a Saturday. For the reasons you pointed out.
This entire situation is one long, drawn out clusterfuck.

The PFA have declared that they dont want games played behind closed doors. If its not safe for the public, its not safe for the player they say.
So the whole thing wont be happening anyway.

I would think if the games were to go ahead behind closed doors that in itself is an extraordinary circumstance outside of the club's hands therefore rules on streaming games may change during that time.
The PFA saying they don't want games going ahead if it is behind closed doors is ridiculous, where do you draw the line? No training either?

A shit paper which I wont name have said that the PM is going to cancel all football and the teams at the top will be promoted and teams at bottom relegated. They can't make season null and void as supporters would be entitled to season ticket money back and broadcasters and sponsors could demand money back too.
Also clubs would then be entitled to prize money thus giving them very important finances to help survive till the game starts again.

Possible they won’t be training. The question has been asked by some players whether they should be and apparently some clubs aren’t.

What is the difference between players training and everyday people going to their work?

Close sweaty physical contact is the concerns being raised. Until the risks are actually clear, it seems a legitimate concern to have.

and that is the snowflake world we now live in. The players can train without being close and pysical. They dont have to shower in the training facility after it if they dont want either.

Training without being close and physical is different to normal training and I would imagine that is possibly what some are getting at. I would imagine it’s part time teams that maybe aren’t training, some of the players full time employees may want them not to who knows.
At the end of the day everyone should be limiting the risk of spread just now and I don’t think that’s ‘snowflake’ in the face of a pandemic which could kill tens of thousands of Scots, depending which estimates prove right.

I think that's a bit extreme saying 10's of thousands.
It's on the wain in china now. Italy has a problem because they have a massive older population. Far greater percentage wise than the uk.

Hopefully, but the numbers given were up to 80% population getting it and between 1-5% of those dying. Even if only 40% get it and 1% die that’s 22000 in Scotland. It may be wrong, I don’t know but the people predicting those numbers know more than I do.

OMG even if your lesser figures (40%/1%) are correct they are totally alarming and why on earth are we leisurely debating summer football?
My perception has been that all this will be a tad inconvenient but that's about it.
Am I kidding myself?
Say 50% get it & 2.5% of them die that's 62,500 less Scots.
So tens of thousands it is.
Either that or amend next season's Betfred...
