Just noticed we dont have a match thread as of yet.
Picking up the 3 points most important here. We have a fairly good record at East End Park and hopefully that continues Saturday. Apparently just over 1300 tickets sold as of yesterday would like to think atleast another 1000 be away come kick off.
Line up?
Same as last Friday for me.

Has to be this line up surely to fuck
That starting team is what we finished with last Friday except Reynolds coming on for Bingham with two minutes to go. So really it's Harkes & McMullan for Powers & Pawlett.
Looks logical to me.

Wouldn't argue against LarsErikKjell's selection, although I'd like to see Glass getting some game time as well. But we can only field 11.
Wonder if Robbie might think it important to give Mark Reynolds, Peter Pawlett and Dillon Powers starting positions.

The thing about Pawlett, Reynolds and Powers is that they ARE good footballers at this level so if they are in the team, whether its 1, 2 or all 3 of them, we should still have enough to beat every team in this league.
There have been games this season where all 3 have been outstanding. Especially Reynolds.
But still, hoping it is the team I listed before.

Agree to an extent, at this level as you say. Don't think they'll be regarded first choices when we go up, and I'd like to see younger players being given a chance to gauge their chances for next season.

The courier today are saying Butcher is a doubt with a groin complaint.
Makes the team selection a bit more simple if thats the case. Powers and Harkes centre mid. Comfortable enough with that.

Looks like it will be Powers and Harkes in the engine room.
Hope Powers takes a game and proves a few people wrong.

Brilliant performance today, Connolly man of the match for me 👍

Players and management need to be taking a long hard look at themselves after that. What an utter embarrassment. Performance wise was much worse than Alloa and almost as bad as 0-4 at Palmerston.
So many passengers. Smith, Robson, Powers, Pawlett, Bingham, Louis nowhere near good enough. The rest were still bad just not quite as bad.
I don’t see what other people see in Smith the boy is brutal. Robson been absolutely shocking since he came back from injury and is back to Robson of the previous couple of seasons.
If Neilson plays Pawlett on Tuesday night he should be sacked on the spot.

Working the day so wasna there.
Could somedy that was there tell me :-
How we only managed 1 shot on target in 90 mins.
What like was the service that Shanks got, and drawin on fae that, how he never managed to score.
What were the deliveries like into the box, and if they were good enough.

Created very little, passing sideways will have that consequence. Nobody got pass marks from me, with the proviso that the forward players got very poor service.
For folk who couldn't get there, Bingham clattered an effort wildly over the bar from a decent position, and Shankland almost converted a Robson cross in the first half, and he had two second half attempts, one a header at full stretch which was really the best he could do, and a near post chance from McMullan's ball which was blocked. There might have been other attempts, such as Appere hitting wide from a speculative shot, but in truth the Pars easily deserved the win.
I felt Robbie chose a conservative line up again, and if he'd used his substitutes as the starting selection, we'd have put up a better showing. He's too cautious, given the lead we have at the top of the league.
I'd like to think he won't point at the injury to Nicky Clark and Sam Stanton's departure for our failings in recent times, for to me, the players he can choose from aren't being utilised to our advantage.
I couldn't get to the 4-0 defeat at Dumfries, but folk told me today was worse, and given the comfortable position we are in, and the players we have in the squad, it's worrying the club managed to conjure up that performance.

Hope you'll pardon me Dyce_arab for no thanking ye fir yer responce. Seek efter I read it and that of Pat Reilly.

We were outmuscled all over the park, again. Collectively the team looked disintersted and not up for the fight.
If we continue with this sort of display this is not over yet.
Worse for me Watson, Bingham Harkes Apperre, in that order
