3-1 Utd

That's if the game makes it. The weather forecast is awful all day and night.

Nearly nailed it.

Would have got it 100% if McMullan had pulled the trigger at the end. Nae idea why he never.

Huge win in atrocious conditions. Two good goals scored. Should have scored 2 or 3 more to make it more comfortable.

League OVER.

Time for us to ENJOY our football and win the league in style over the next 11 league games.

Play Shankland, Bingham, Appere, McMullan and Glass all in the same team.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

Connolly was very good tonight, and Bingham put in a clever performance but ran out of steam.

Good substitutions from Robbie too, tonight, although at the time I wasn't happy with Reynolds coming on.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

Connolly funny to watch sometimes but brilliant, wears his heart on his sleeve, can’t ask for much more than that

Harkes and Mcmullan changed game, missed harkes ability to run about, must start next week

Shankland, where do u even begin with that laddie, up there with best strikers I’ve personally seen at united, boys got absolutely everything doesn’t have loads of pace but don’t need that when u have the footballing brain that boy has got and ability of course

Well done neilson also 👍🏼

Always wait until after the game to comment buddy lol. Man of the Match for me and many others.

Yeah, he certainly improved after my little team talk lol. But I still can't bear to watch him pass the ball though. Important win, hopefully gets us our impetus back. Terrible conditions so am happy we got through it. I'd like to see us back to the team we had on the park for our long winning run still, minus Clark obviously.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

That is the very type of performance that wins the Scottish Championship, well done to all of them.

Mom was Connelly or Smith for me.

The lad Rooney at right back was pretty decent tonight for them and might be worth keeping an eye on for next season.

I don't need your approval, and you can sit where you like. I won't be the first to have a rant on a message board, certainly won't be the last either. How about you get a grip of yourself and keep the psychological assessment to yourself too. Connolly had a couple of good blocks, but was at fault for the goal. He also gives the ball away far more than he should, tries to be clever when he needs to be direct and is a free kick magnet to boot. We were honking at times and decent on a few occasions but we certainly didn't play like a team that's got the league won already. Appere was my man of the match, certainly wasn't Connolly that's for sure. My point about playing the same line up that served us well throughout our winning run was validated by the improvement we saw once Powers and Pawlett were replaced.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

Last night I was praising Connolly and Bingham, and stand by that, but it's almost as if the quality is expected of Lawrence Shankland now, and he doesn't always get the comments of approval and gratitude. His link up play and all round input was outstanding.

On another point, at the goal I don't think Benji's positioning was too clever, he limited himself by being unable to move quickly enough and react to the whip and height of the corner kick: or am I being harsh?

For a 6ft 5 keeper he is shite at corners and cross balls. And off the scale bad re penalties. Very good shot stopper but we may need better keeper next year.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

There is nothing wrong with Siegrist, he is one of our better players & continues to grow into the team.
I look forward to seeing his exposure to the Prem next season, I think he may surprise a few & gain good recognition with the increase in media coverage.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

Had a late dart to Edinburgh Airport last night right efter ths gehm.

Under r the circumstances, wind and p1ss, the pitch making it look like water polo, and playing our nearest rivals, it was a pretty good performance.

We're all pretty sure this looks like working out for us. Thank phuck, its beginning to look like we're getting nearer the title and being back where we belong.

Doubt if ICT even winning their 2 games in hand will get enough points to catch us us unless we have a total phuck-up.

Pawlett seems to come and go a bit. He's good at times, but it's patchy, and he fell away a bit.

I find Connolly a bit bizarre. He seems to have the right demeanour, but the odd mistake sometimes costs us.

Still no sure what to make of Powers, a couple of his passes made me shiver.

Bit worried when Reynolds came on and thought we were inviting them on at the end, but sure lots oe folk will remember that ICT were playing 4 up front in parts of the 2nd half.

Shat mysell when Tremarco got the run and had chance for them at the end but thank phuck he hit the side netting.

Watson, Smith and Robson were good performers.

Bingham's ball control and passing is good. Assists for both goals.

When Harkes and Mcmullan came on, you noticed a massive difference.

MOTM for me Appere.

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

IMO, I think benji is so underrated by most fans, I personally think he’s a excellent keeper, if u want a keeper to come out and command his box ( which I think he does ), he’s obviously going to make a few mistakes!

Keep up the good work benji, too many people looking for a replacement, he in my opinion will 100% be our keeper next year and rightly so

Re: Dundee Utd v ICT predictions

If we don't play Seigrist in the top league some other team will take him off our hands and play him in that league.
IMO definitely the best we've had since we went down.
