Would be Appere and Shankland up top for me unless we can get someone in, Sporle left, McMullan right, Pawlett, Stanton can fill in wide too.

Would prefer someone in tho if Clark is indeed as bad as feared. Let’s face it league’s won but going into next season with winning momentum is the important thing now.

Say Shankland get's injured between now and May (Heaven forbid), who's our No.9? Would only leave young Appere. And in his first season as a Pro it's a role he hasn't played much.

He (Neilson) isn't going to play Sow (despite his comments midweek). 

We have good options all over the park now. But upfront there is no competition for LS.

Presumably Clark's wages will now be covered by Health insurance for a few months. Surely that could free up a wage to get a loanee forward in till May.

Regardless, Clark being out is a huge blow. He covers 3 positions for us and as well as his goals he brings experience, leadership qualities and assists (his corner for Shankland's header today for example).

 

 
Agree, if we can get the right man.  Don’t want a panicky replacement that ends up sitting beside Sow on the bench.
Clark is a big miss, he’s pretty underrated imo.

Just watching the goals there and some very good play.


Delighted for Sporle to get a goal and his ball to Shankland is also good. Hopefully that he is now finding his feet. One thing i have noticed is the rest of the squad all speaking to him in Spanish on his instagram account and with his girlfriend here he now looks like he has eventually settled in.

Yeah, a complete joke to get booked for lifting up his shirt to show a tee-shirt that is exactly the same fucking colour. Jumping into the crowd or ripping off his shirt altogether and nothing underneath fair enough, but a lad celebrating a perfect hat trick deserves a tiny bit of leeway ffs
