McMullan back fit and available for tomorrow apparently.
Good news.
McMullan for Stanton??
Or same team as Tuesday?
Gayfield's rather narrow for wingers.

No idea who I'd leave out but McMullan would be back in my starting line up.
We were narrow as buggery on Tuesday and McMullan would fix that issue. If pushed, I probably would be inclined to leave Stanton out but that would be extremely harsh on him as he hasn't done anything to merit being left out.
We're in the business of winning football matches though and I feel that McMullan on the right, instead of Stanton, gives us a better chance of doing that.

If mcmullan is fit he has to be back in. Missed any natural width on Tuesday.
Also passing to one another tomorrow will help. It was atrocious at Morton.
Somebody's for the (undeserved) chop then if McMullan starts & if it's not Stanton it's Appere.
I might be tempted to leave Stanton in.

Why is it undeserved? We wernt at out best on tuesday. Actually it was probably the worst weve played for a while. If someone has to get the chop for mcmullan then so be it. Weve been playing far better recently with him in the team. He gives us width. Stanton doesn't.
Oh and Appere has scored 2 in 2 so he stays in .

Undeserved inasmuch as we've won 7 games in a row & there's been good continuity of selection.
Tuesday's game took a lot of winning & I wouldn't say it's the worst we've played for a while.
On the contrary it was good to see we've got a battle in us & in the overall scheme of things the 3 points might be looked back on as good a win as we've had all season.

I'd be resting anybody who has a nagging injury or a niggle, but the management staff should be aware of that. You'd think there will be a few.

Play our strongest 11 and if McMullan is fit then he starts.
United have tweeted we have sold over 2800 won't make it tomorrow myself but think we will win with a couple to spare.

It's the worst weve played in our 7 game winning streak. My reasoning is it was we were without width. Play the same tomorrow and I think itll be a very tight game. Mcmullan gives us options.

Hard fought win, eight wins in a row! Fantastic! 13 points clear at the top, nobody is stopping us now. Two home games next up, let's win both and enjoy a very merry Christmas 👍😊

Couldn’t make the game today so was listening on Arabzone. Sounded like a fairly poor performance but another three points in the bag so who cares! Bring on Ayr now.

Comfortably second best but only the second team to pick up all the points at Gayfield. Week now to get McMullan and Shankland fit before another very important game.

Hard to watch today thought we were pretty poor. Best thing today was Butchers run and tackle in the 2nd half. Brilliant.

Phuckin Baltic the day was it no.
Theres nae doubt that phuckin wind the day helped ruin the gehm a but. Made it near impossible play a heh ba. The ba kept blah-in toward the main stand. Was like playin futba we a balloon.
Good ba in fae Clark fae the free-kick. During the scuffle, Harkes managed a shot that was blocked, the ba then going to Stanton for the shot into the net.
Some of the times we lost possession it was almost laughable. It gave Arbroath a few chances on goal, but we defended well enough, and Benji made a few excellent saves the day. A good joab tae. Arbroath are a good side. Well drilled. They had mare punts on goal than we did. There was a 15 min period in the 1st half (fae 3.15 till 3.30), when we never got the ba oot oe oor ane half.
Some of the breaks we had the day were excellent to watch. Some good runs fae Shanks, Appere, Smith and the 1 from Clark which led to the pen.
Eh thought that Clark should've hammered the ba just before he was brought doon. As it was the keeper saved. I could be wrang, but fae whar Eh wiz, Eh thought the keeper was standing aff centre to the right, when the penalty was being ta'en, and wondered how Clark didna spot it when he took the kick.
Yes woulda liked to see a couple oe mare goals. But. Its results like this that help keep us where we are, and for that I'm thankful.
MOTM between Butcher and Appere.
Oh Eh, anybody tell iz what Shanks got booked fir. Was in the p1sser.

The biggest and best club extended their lead at the top of the table. Well done Dundee United.

That for me summed up way we are playing at moment, It was 100% effort and determination from Butch that he was not only going to get there, he was winning that ball and nothing was going to stop him.
He’s leading by example and it’s rubbing off on others.
......and it was a great tackle
