Chance for revenge on Saturday.
As everyone will be well aware we will be without Shankland.
I would go with Clark and Cammy Smith up top.
The rest unchanged
Siegrist
Smith
Reynolds
Watson
Robson
Harkes
Butcher
Mcmullan
Appere
Cammy Smith
Clark

Yep, I'd go same team with Clark taking LS role and Cammy in the number 10.

Would like to see Appere up front to give us a bit of physical presence and perhaps hold the ball up with others playing off him, but no objection to Clark and Smith.
Also agree on keeping Watson in the centre of defence - we seem to win more in the air with him there and two clean sheets in the last two games

Sensible.
Minimum disruption to a winning team.

Smith has been disappointing in every appearance this season. Hopefully get an hour from Pawlett.

He scored number six 😉

In fact, per minute played he has been much more productive than Pawlett this season. Just needs a run of games in his favoured position imo. What I'd like is for him to have a screamer of a game and leave Robbie with selection dilemmas in the same way Watson has.

Comfortable victory today and another clean sheet.
Solid at the back again i thought.
Harkes ran the show in the middle for us. Thought Smith would have started for Shankland but wasnt disappointed in how we set up and played.

Brilliant result, 5 wins on the bounce, no goals conceded again and 9 points clear, Happy days! This is our year, no question about it

Appere man of the match for me. He gave queens absolutely no peace at all. Well done young man.
Players apparently away to Dublin now for their Xmas night out. Enjoy guys but standard of performance now totally set and need to be back at it in a fortnights time.

Harkes for me today superb and whole team played really well, Robbie finally seems to have them all playing for each other as a team, a few tired players by the end but well done , great football and a great result.
Bring on the next game, hopefully we can keep this going.

Appere looks like a lad with a huge future.
I recall saying Watson is our best central defender, and I still think he is.
Mind you, I remember saying Clark wasn't up to much, and I am wrong.

That was brah the day was it no. Now 9 points clear, and 12 points clear of the BNBs, and GD +33 (12 more than Ayr, and 21 more than the BNBs)
Think we coulda had more, and was hoping we would get a 4th to "even things up" vs Queens. MOTM for me was Appere and he woulda deserved to get a goal the day.
Agree that its the best I've seen from Harkes the day. I've been a critic of him in the past, but he got stuck in the day, and although he still will back pass or square pass , when he should be pushing / passing forward, there was less of that the day.
Just around the half hour mark, I got a bit nervy that Queens were coming inta the game a bit, but it soon petered out for them. All in all that was 1 if the best all round performances this Season.
My only complaint the day was that by the full time rolled on, it was like the Baltic.

When we beat Dunfermline a few weeks back I said if we could win our next five games we would build a title winning lead. Well that's four of the five out the way.
Defence hasn't looked back since Watson went to CH...and looking at the first two goals, what a difference in McMullan when he's not stuck out wide right.

Not sure if this fella posts on here. But absolutely loving the Utd content he is posting regularly.

Very much in agreement with what's been said .Harkes & Butcher had a firm grip of midfield. Also would have given Apperre MOM , although it helps when you have a 17st Ch marking you WTF was that all about.

3 - nil, and it would probably have been more if our top goalscorer hadn't been hijacked to warm the Scotland bench!

Selfishly I hope he doesn't come off the bench for the next game either.

Calum Semple (the afore mentioned 17st centre half) is being torn apart by Queens fans. Being subbed on and then off will either make or break him. Will be interesting to see if it’s the boot up the arse he needs to make a career out of professional football.

I'd prefer him with us if the fixtures clashed.

Yes, and no United game, so let's hope he is sat safely on the bench.
