Still absolutely buzzing. The failed silence was embarrassing though, something I thought was reserved for the old firm

Unfortunately some idiot near me shouted something. Derry started booing and it never settled after that. Not a good look for either club.

Agreed, lack of respect from a few idiots. Away support looked terrific on TV btw, barely noticed the home support until they started leaving 😂

United on easy street last night.
We had to be patient but there was only 1 team in the game.
As soon as the first went in, they had to come out which created the spaces we required.
Good and patient performance from pep n the boys
Also - at the pen - why was there not a red card? The challenge was two footed (player out of control)...none of the commentary lot even mentioned it as a discussion point

I thought he looked a bit rueful at the end. Maybe he had hoped for a higher score?

Commentary team are a bunch of cunts that's why, I was asking myself the same question. Tackle was certainly at least on a par with Butcher's yet not a fuckin murmur

Aye - his feet are together and off the ground when he makes contact so no way of controlling himself. It could have been worse for the dees if lionel mcdaid had been binned

Yeah whoever started this should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves this morning.

Well needless to say, I woke up the day we an awful sare haed.
Agree aboot the 1st half. Pretty scrappy for the main part. I actually thought it might end up a goalless draw.
The foul in the box happened right in front oe us, and I turned and looked at Mcclean. Didna hae to wait long. Poace was in mayhem after Clark hit the back of the net. Great atmosphere from then on.
Shanks goal was the best bit of individual play during the match. Think he was fouled during the move, but no matter. Non-stop celebrations from then on till the last folk were oot, then oot inta the street.
Superb TBH. I'd ve but yet hand aff for that.
Oh no that its important in the run or things, but Eh thought the initial disturbance during the minute silence came fae ootside the ground but hey ho, there you have it.

I was entering the ground as the minute silence started, I noticed the players at the centre circle and stood at the entrance to the seats, people behind me never knew that the silence was happening and were shushed. The Special needs division at the corner of the Derry made far more noise than any United fans in the concourse.

Brilliant performance from every player in tangerine, particularly in the 2nd half. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that we’ve came out of that slump since we’ve had Robson back and Smith back at right back, plus Clark playing in his natural position?
Still a long long way to go but if we can keep this run going we’ll be not far away from what we all want.

Dundee 0-2 Dundee United
Queens 3-1 Ayr United
Arbroath 3-0 Inverness
Carlsberg Weekend if ever there was one.

Missed the first couple of minutes due to the arrangements outside, and many folk including me arriving quite close to kick off: only four turnstiles were open, and groups were being periodically held back. Knew nothing of a minutes silence before the game, many others must have been equally unaware.
Maybe an unpopular viewpoint, but I don't think there should be such silences at football matches, perhaps excepting where they are played on the actual Remembrance Sunday. However, had I been in the ground in time, I'd have respected the decision of others and stayed still and silent for the minute.
To the game: must honestly say I rarely noticed their star man Dorrans, and generally Dundee didn't look up to much. Like others have written, every player in our side played their part: special mentions to Butcher, Shankland (of course) and Watson.
Long way to go yet, but the poorer performances of 4-5 weeks ago are distant memories.

A massive win last night.
Poor first half from us i thought but came out 2nd half totally different. Watson for the 2nd game on the bounce was brilliant. Feared Butcher would see red last night when he put that BNB in his place after a couple of minutes picking up the yellow. He was outstanding. Shankland Robson Smith special mentions also.
Passion shown from Mcmullan etc at the end was brilliant and great to see.
I thought our support was outstanding last night.

More fan footage
Eejits in the Derry fighting amongst themselves.😂

The team feels a lot more balanced without Pawlett in the side so hopefully he isn’t an automatic pick once he’s fit again.
Someone has to come in for Sir Laurence, rest of the team will be the same I'm sure.
Pawlett if fit is the likely incomer but if not fit I would like to see Logan Chalmers get a start, I'm sure this boy's a player.
Btw random stat - Friday Fun was our 10th win of the season. Last season our 10th win was on January 12th v Pars at home so you could say we're two months better off than last season.

And no draws in the league either.
