Well for 85 mins I would go as far to say that was a poor performance. Canna believe we were celebrating a equaliser in the 88th minute at home against Ar-phuckin-broath.
Saw in the stats that we had 57% possession, but most of it was sidey-wiys amongst the back 4, where it was wasted, instead of being further up the park.
The 1 upfront nonsense (at home against Arbroath?), if that's what it was, contributed to what I counted was Shanks only touching the ball 5 times in the 1st half. The hoofball attempts meant that he got phuck-all service, as the defenders won every phuckin thing.
Would say after 10 mins of being on, Sporle looked like our best player.
You then moved to the 80th minute, when it took the team to turn the tables. Then 2 superb goals, and you wonder WTF we couldna play like that the whole 90.
The biggest escape since Alcatraz but mighty glad for the 3 points.

2 great finishes.

Brilliant to see him celebrate like that.
Nobody should be allowed to tackle him in training, fucked without him.

I'm not getting involved in stuff posted afore the game ended or about RN. I care fuckall about being right either.
I'm chuffed and celebrating an unlikely win that was likely and thinking wins like it might be what matters if we get up.
Hale thing is a bit surreal.
I get maist sides of the arguements on here after that.

Kept an eye on him again today, and got to say, the boy Tam O’Brien’s one we should be keeping an eye on. Looks a class act at the back for Arbroath. If they keep up their early season form, I could see a few bottom half Premiership teams sniffing about him.

Couple of rants through the game, but to be fair the performance apart from 4 minutes at the end was fucking awful. Not seeing any boo boys out tonight though so not sure what you're reading

Correct me if I’m wrong but sure I heard on The Terrace podcast that he’s comfortable at part time and has rejected potential moves to full time.

Is there a sane reason why he’s switched the formation and tactics back to Largs bore-ball, pass, pass, pass punt? This is reminiscent of when he played Safranko wide—now it’s Appere’s turn?

'TWO UP TOP'
Anyone tell me what it means?
Can you tell me what games this season were we playing 'TWO UP TOP'?
And what games were we not playing 'TWO UP TOP'?
Are there other teams who play 'TWO UP TOP'?
If so, who are they?
How do you recognise when a team is playing 'TWO UP TOP'? When the 'TWO UP TOP' is constantly caught offside, loitering in the opposition penalty box?
I bet Skysport know what 'TWO UP TOP' is.
I wish I was a manager/head coach. Against Morton on Saturday I could try 'THREE UP TOP'. How many goals might we score?! Are there any teams that play 'THREE UP TOP'. Manchester City maybe?

It's not too hard to work it out in our context, surely Smeds?
Putting a lad like Appere out on the left, playing in midfield at times, doesn't constitute playing 'two up top'.
Shankland has thrived this season and the last two with a partner beside him (Moffat at Ayr), and it borders on insane to think we should change something that has been a success in the Ayr and Arbroath matches.
Shankland previously struggled with his career at various clubs when played as a lone striker (DAFC, Morton, St Mirren).
To put it simply: we had 'two up top' for the first four games, and didn't in the last two.

What does two up top mean? Are you for real? Instead of playing Appere wide play him through the middle alongside Shankland. You've never heard of Sutton and Shearer? That was two up top. Although I suspect you're attention seeking as per.
There were plenty times on Saturday when Appere was UP TOP with Shankland.
And sometimes he was on the left sometimes on the right, sometimes in the centre. Sometimes he was UP, sometimes he was a bit deeper.
Table football has extreme rigidity, there's rods up their arses.
Real football isn't like that. It's all about flexibility, adaptability, fluidity.
I think I've heard of Sutton & Shearer but that's about all. Were they the epitomy of TWO UP TOP?
Sky Sport has a lot to answer for.
