Oh come on. We've got a 100% record after 4 games. This is not a must win.

They can go on the same points as us tomorrow, so, yes it is a must win game.

If we want to win this league outright, they are all must win games. Well until we are in a position to mathematically not be caught.

Dangerous mindset to have so early into the season that we don't have to worry about winning imo.

Re: Ayr united away

We definitely won't win every game, so tagging each one as must win is OTT. In my opinion.

Re: Ayr united away

This game is massive as are all 4 v Ayr this season.

I'm hoping for draws in most games that don't involve us whoever is playing this season.

Sayin that I'd like to see Arbroath and Alloa win mair than the rest.

Re: Ayr united away

Just as I suspected at the game (and from the other end of the pitch), we should have had at least one penalty and Ayr's was very soft.

Madden is a dirty Hun bastard.

Watched these highlights earlier, and one thing I'd say: some of our players appeared either lazy or unfit.

Agree with your last two posts Tek. Both wingers looked totally uninterested and that seems to be a trademark of McMullan down at Somerset for some reason.

Also thought we should’ve had a minimum of two pens and thought their pen was soft, although I didn’t have my specs on and I’m inclined to be slightly biased when seeing such incidents in real time.. Madden remains the worst referee in the country in my opinion, closely followed by Barry Cook and a few others.

Didn't want to point at particular players, but that's one right enough. Folk at the game said as much to me, and also mentioned the captain.

I'm wondering if he is carrying an injury: we know PP id recovering from one, to be fair.

Re: Ayr united away

Thought that was a stone wall pen when Louis was brought down in the first half and seeing it there it was.  Fuck right off Madden.

Re: Ayr united away

Yip - looks like a poor day at the office.  Noted that you only saw Shankland very briefly in the highlights.  Ayr clearly did a job on him, but not helped by our formation.  Score-line could have been much worse too and would have if Shankland was still in white.  We also looked really porous at the back.  Play like that and it's going to be a real struggle.  Ayr and ICT have pretty much undone all our good work in one weekend.  Still all doable though.  Task is to complete first 9 with at least 22 points.
