Can see a few changes Saturday even with Neilson saying after the match there wouldn't be wholesale changes.
Mehmet Sporle Watson Frans Cammy Smith Sow amongst some youngsters should start this one

Obviously not now.
The post was before his departure was on official site.

For all I despise the tournament, I hope United get a decent turnout, and performance, from those selected for the match.
It's the wrong target I've been aiming at, and although the club are part of the SPFL, they could hardly change Doncaster's farcical set up on their own.

Think I would play.

Agree with this with the exception of King in for Stanton. Give him a rest

Leave out Banks too as he's away with the national side

Shankland looked like he maybe had a slight injury, presumably Connolly’s out, maybe give Reynolds & Stanton a rest, other than that just keep the winning momentum going.
. Siegriest
Smith. Watson. Butcher. Robson
McMullan. C Smith. Harkes. Pawlett
Clark. Appere

Butcher is one who I would keep well away from this fixture. He covers two positions very well, and while replacements elsewhere aren't presently at the standard of first choices, we'd be risking too much by playing Calum on Saturday.

I reckon it'll be:
Deniz
L.Smith
Watson
Graham
Sporle
Pawlett
King
Harkes
Chalmers
C. Smith
Clark
Still suspect that Frear might be here by Saturday and might be involved.

Wouldn't risk Reynolds, Louis or Harkes in this game. All have had plenty of game-time so its not like they need the games for fitness.

You get things pretty accurate when it comes to selection, Dufc2016: but hoping the media team don't give away the team, then doing the same thing............. would that not be something which could help the opposition too?
It's not a criticism!
TBF to you, I don't think it makes a huge difference if team selections are known to the opposition in advance, but some might think otherwise.

HT and it’s pish.

Was played like a pre season friendly very poor. That said we had several chances over the 90 and couldn't score.
Not disappointed in anyway to be out that cup and hopefully its the last time we play in it

Crap. Like a training game. Still should've won. The referee was shocking.

How did Spörle do?
Trying to take away the positive that we kept a clean sheet.

He played not bad. Needs to learn when to release the ball though.

Awful. Boy’s an absolute pap. Just wants rid of the ball as soon as he gets it. Cuts inside every single time into a sea of bodies and completely halts our momentum.

I would describe the match as a whole, as very flat.
Ken it's no important in the big scheme oe things, but to no be able to score a phuckin goal against Ar-phuckin-broath, well the mind boggles.
Thought we'd've had it wrapped up by half-time, but the pace at times was slower than Subbuteo.

I’d believe LAO. The biggest criticism I’d have if the boy was he always cuts inside on his right foot when going forward and never goes down the outside. He looked sound enough defensively, but today wasn’t really a day to judge.
The positive from today was Robson at CH. could deputise in there if need be in more important games than this.
Edit to say, the cutting inside wasn’t always into a sea of bodies and momentum stopping, it was normally to swing a cross in with his right foot, which he did several times, it just became very obvious.
