Early I know but this game must be our sole focus for the next fortnight. Win this with no alarms and I genuinely think we might just finally be the real deal. Play the fringe players and youngsters in the chocolate wafer Cup as it's not important for anything else, be nice for our young lads to go out and win it of course. But I just think now that the Ayr game is massive, and our chance to build a healthy lead at the top with a couple of home games to follow.

Couldn’t care less about the diddy cup, but for me they’ve just had a 2 week break before the pars game and we should just focus on keeping the momentum of a winning run going. Absolutely wouldn’t risk anyone who’s remotely struggling with injury but other than that just keep winning.

I’m sure that Neilson said in his post match interview that changes would be kept to a minimum.

Surprised by ayr this season. Really thought they would struggle with half their team going elsewhere but they seem to have started well.
A tough game (plus jobbie mccall loves a win over us)...

A tough game but we should approach it in exactly the same fashion, fear no one. We aspire to play against much bigger teams next season so we need to develop that ruthless winning mentality this season.

Indeed - I just presumed they had lost too many to mount any sort of challenge - clearly wrong.

I'm sure they will do fine this season but don't have the depth of squad or overall quality to mount a serious challenge. They will though take points off our other rivals, we just need to approach every game with the same desire to win and professional attitude.

They only beat Partick after they had 2 players sent off.

If anyone from here is going you have to buy an e-ticket from Ayr Uniteds own website. No tickets on sale from us and no cash gates or paper ticket sales at Somerset Park.

Done bought 2 and got 2 separate pdfs to save to phone or print. £18 each. Easy peasy.
Will probably mean 1000 rather than 1250 though...as people cannot be arsed

I actually thought that was a nuisance getting the tickets.
If anyone is buying multiple Seated Tickets, watch out as when you add one to your basket, it sets the default back to Standing Ticket.

If anyone has a spare ticket for away terracing please let me know and i can meet you outside to purchase it.
Got a problem with buying one on online before the weekend.

Ahh that's good then. Common sense (though would make even more sense just to let you patg).
In that case i won't need a ticket off of you afterall The Shed. But thanks for the offer pal.🖒

Presumably realised only sold 500 when were expecting 1000odd. Ayr is a horrible trek to get to. Sinking feeling the wheels will come off unless we are bang at it (c R McKinnon) from first whistle. Expect Ayr to be ultra aggressive and to target Seigrist with crosses and high balls from the start.
Believe this is a must win and need good haul from next 4 to build a 6 point plus lead at end Q1 and start moving clear.
Oh come on. We've got a 100% record after 4 games. This is not a must win.

Ayr ain't a horrible trek. It's a rather easy journey.
Thing is while indent agree with this ticketing system it is rather easy to do. You can buy your tickets at anytime so dont think ayr can gauge too much how many are travelling.

I love going to Ayr, and have now embraced the new technology associated with going to matches.
The Hawkhill Bowling Club at the ground is highly recommended.
Having to miss this again though, unfortunately.
