Alfie Stewart at ICT. 19 years old. 8 goals and 10 assists this season.

Rumours Hibs have approached him. Why are we not at players like this?

He's still on Aberdeen's books is he not?

Must still have a future there given how well he's done at Caley.

Getting released

Henry Fieldson, left back at Queens Park being linked.

Dundee, Falkirk and St Mirren also keen, and a few clubs in England .

I think given his age and that he might need a bit of patience and time before becoming the finished article, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep Strain another year. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but he’s experienced and solid if unspectacular.

We chucked the baby out with the bath water last summer and let go of too much of the core of the team to bring in a lot of young players. One example would be Moult, in hindsight, would it have been so bad to have kept him another year, knowing if all else fails, he can do a solid enough job in his position?

Sorry but need to disagree, by end of last season Moults legs had totally gone and releasing him was best thing to do. Amount of games he has managed for Crewe this season backs that up(played 1 minute since end of December, and only started 4 games all season.) As for Strain, is he worth spending money on an inflated wage for someone as injury prone and someone as a player seems to be declining on what he is able to bring to the team

Been told we’re after yet another Aussie. Daniel Arzani who was once with Celtic.

I've said before but signing so many players from that part of the World is a bad idea if they are getting called up for their countries.

We could have 3 or 4 players having to travel to the other end of the globe and back every few months and only arriving back on the Thursday jetlagged to fuck, two days before our match.

Seems like poor planning to me.

FIFA are merging two international breaks into one next season I think it’s 4 games in about 2weeks.

We could just do an Arsenal and pretend they are all injured

It is a definite concern. We probably will be badly affected by international breaks.

At least Australia play in Asia now so some of the trips might only be to Middle East

New Zealand still playing in Oceania against the likes of Solomon Islands !

End of September/October there’s to be 4 games in the 2 weeks i think. While that’s boring, it’s a good chance for 90% of our squad to rest up along with the pitch.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

Mikael Mandron out of contract at St.Mirren.

His performance on Sunday is why we should do everything we can to get a big, physical Striker who knows the league like him in the door. Everything that Watters was meant to be.

Always liked Mandron. He will end up at Aberdeen with Robinson

I heard Alan Temple in his podcast allude to the fact that he felt United might make a move for him.

Personally i think we could do better.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

I’ll be happy enough with Walton on a permanent contract.

Knows the club, the league and the area, good character and reliable. Still young and should continue to improve.

Could gamble and get better, but could also get so much worse.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

I watched the St Mirren Vs Livvy game today, the Livvy goal keeper Jerome Prior was outstanding, some incredible saves and caught every cross ball he came for. I'm not sure if he's signed a pre-contract for anyone but from what I can see on the internet it looks like he's out of contract this summer, he'd definitely be worth a punt

I just felt he parried too many shots in front of him into dangerous areas.

Cost us more than once, in that regard. Didn't think he was much cop at crosses either. Also his distribution and kicking was average.

He's not a bad Keeper, per se, but i just feel there must be better Keepers out there who tick more boxes.
