TEK your post is spot on mate canny argue with any of that!

Rado was superb in the first 20mins and Fojut is some find he is so strong and a real threat for corners as you just feel he is going to get his big bald nut on every ball!!

Erskine made a big difference when he came on and injected some much needed penetration as we were so one paced it was unreal, however we need to remember they put up a wall which is still our issue of not having the key to unlock two banks of defenders sitting in. Even when Blaite came on we never really got any crosses in on top of them and continued to play infront of them.

Anyway 10yrs without a defeat to the Dee's = Pleasing!!

I'm gutted too but will need to try and pick some sort of positive's from last night no matter how small.

For me the No supporter (not all but a majority) were more interested in self preservation and how the vote for YES would impace them in the short term,

Now I have a no bad job and make an honest living, my wife is a teacher and again is on a good enough wage, we have twa kids and a nice house in Angus so the status quo for us was a no bad option, however i want more than that for my kids and their kids and for everyone's kids, nobody in this oil rich, renewable rich country should be queing at a food bank to feed their kids whilst billions are being spent on high fucking speed railway lines from London and replacement bombs which will never be used (hopefully!!)

Make me sick to the stomach that we have blown the best opportunity we will ever get to free ourselves and have the power in our own hands!

Good point, I actually had a call from my neither young nor old staunchly YES daughter last night to say she was worried as she was being slightly swayed by the scare stories this week. Few words of wisdom and a couple of youtube clips and all is well, but the potential effect of utter bollocks is very alarming.

Pah....

The No campaign much of the time has been that bad, it is as though they are trying to insult peoples intelligence, turn people against them and lose on purpose. =12.7272720336914pxThe Scotland that I know is so overwhelmingly YES that it is going to take electoral fraud for the No campaign to win. I know and talk to people in Perth, Dundee, and when I am at work, from all over (but mostly the North East). There are literally only 2 people who I can think off who are voting NO. One of them who I know personally, and another who I have heard off. My own experience of the coting intention of the general population falls very much into line with the 95% Yes - 5% No results of these informal polls mentioned above.

If the No's win, then there will have been electroral fraud as far as I am concerned.

I hope your right MTC although my slight worry is that historically the north east is very much an SNP / Independance minded area it's the oil rich sheep and the further south you go they may have more connection to England without thinking this about this as an opportunity to break free from the armpit of westminister!

This is my likely team for the game if Armstrong and Dow are fit if not Spittal to come in. We are good enough to beat them although it will be blood and guts first and we need to then earn the right to show out football ability and Morris needs to concentrate as some of the mistakes have been costly!

This apart from Squiddy if Stretch still out, with Spittal as impact sub.

Agree forgot about Erskine!!

I love this board Tek, really feel that your views are taken on and although we might not all agree there is no crazy name calling as i have seen on other boards.

Been proud to have been here from the start and although i don't post all the time when i do i get a good responce from other.

We are all Arabs and are proud and care enought in our club to post on our opinions but it's also good that other people care enough to sign up even if they don't want to post, give this place time mate! SRYB

Looking forward to getting back to business now the break is out the road and a few hours without referendum sounds good to me!!

Will be a hard game they will sit in and make it difficult for us but hoping for a 2-1 win as I think they will score today but we should have enough going forward

I'm a yes man but am shitting it the media and scare tactics will work on  the old and young voters. I am hopeful the people on the streets are not taken in with it. Without being too hot on who actually take part in these polls I have never been asked what my thoughts are!

Also I take it the media debates audiences are more 'staged' to allow both sides to comment?

Really not looking forward to the next few days as it's going to be  all one sided in the media and not for the Yes side!!

Now that Ibrox might be changing name very soon for a whole £1 what would your thoughts on if this was to ever happen at Tannadice?

Scottish Rugby sold the naming rights to Murrayfield to BT for a cool £20 million would it matter if we were heading down to 'good old Calor Stadium' if we were to rake in say £8million?

I am not sure if it would matter to me as it will always be Tannadice as far as i am concerned!

Dundee United » ST's interview on the ZONE » 03/9/2014 10:23 am

enjoyed the interview however the sound was shocking! great to see the club are finally looking outside the box too. My opinion is that we should be looking to utilise the facilities further and be looking to get a Utd for sport to try and tempt more other sports in and around tannadice as in offering coaching sessions in other sports at Gussie like hockey, rugby as part of a community scheme etc engage these people and their family into the club and hopefully they will come along to the games too.

My boss has just been on the funny fags as he's hearing the following:

As Roger has stated - GMS bud from Sheffield Wed turned down
Armstrong turned down an approach from Celtic but he is to sign for Everton and be loaned back for the season.
Utd approached the Sheep about Pawlett and they are in talks.

Now i have a stress ball on my desk which i am eating if these go through by 11pm. The boys gone Mental!!!

Do you think shooting towards your own fans helps teams? We always seem to do better shooting towards the ET now i know there is a slight slop at Tannadice but does this make such a difference?

That will be the last we see of Graham, you don't leave and give a statement like he has and expect to be back next season ready for a starting position IMO. Toys oot the pram about goals last season and pre season but not getting a game!!

Might be proved wrong but don't thnk i will be!

Rado was secure today and stayed on his line more which helped!!

In fairness to County they at least did try and have a bit of a go more than Motherwell two weeks ago.

Defence looked ok but could still see some nerves from last week at times.

I didn't think GMS was on it today, sorry Bugs, some poor decision making when he got into the final third for me although he did well in spells

Would have hooked Mario after about an hour he was blowing out his arse but thankfully Erskine came up with the goods, laddie surely deserves a start next week??
