I was actually thinking about that on Saturday as i was at Anfield and was telling those who would listen that we would have hosed them in the final if it wasn't for those cheating Italian bastards.
In fact bollock lets get a star on the badge!

Sheep Shagger for me all day long, think it was more to do with being brought up in Montrose you are really on the border of Aberdeenshire and all sheep shagging activities so loads of my mates were sheep and a splash of Tic and Huns.
They are so stuck in the 80's it's unreal and they do think they deserve to be recognised as something special for something that happened 30 yrs ago.
Hate the tic and huns in equal measures however hate playing celtic more cause we always get horsed. Zombies are more a comedy feeling now.
The Fun don't bother me and i really look at them in the same terms as Arbroath and Forfar

Good to see the club are looking at new ideas to scout players. Might need to start to watch some of the Aussie games on BT sport to see the level.

Unbelievable the top 14 sides in scotland all drawn together nobody with a "easy tie" Motherwell away is not easy but certainly winnable

MD, your story had me pissing myself at the end some how. Did you piss him off or something? As much as I would be shitting myself I think I would also be intrigued as. Only if its not dark though!
Haha never though of that HA hopefully he is stuck in Inverary and no able to visit oor bedroom Was unexplainable as when he died Abby was only just turned 2 so wasn't at the buring of his ashes as she stayed with my folks that day and we never mentioned anything about him that day so there was no way of her knowing where we were.
General Discussion » Supernatural stuff » 03/11/2014 1:04 pm |
My one still gives me the jitters and I canny explain it
The Father In-Law passed away a few years back in Forfar and after the cremation we took his ashes to Inverary on the West Coast as this is where the wife’s family are originally from and buried them in the graveyard in the village.
Fast forward a year on and we are on holiday at Helensburgh and decide to visit some family in Inverary so me the wife and our daughter who is 3yrs head off and have a nice day round the castle, lunch with the family etc etc.
As we get into the car to head home I say “Do you want stop” making a point not to mention the place or her dad and the wife just answers “yes”
So I stop the car at the side of the road and you need to walk up a wee hill to get to the cemetery so me and the wee one stay in the car and off the wife goes.
We are sitting in the car and Abby begins to giggle in the back of the car for no reason I say what you laughing at and she says “Granda” and starts to giggle again.
I say “What did you say” and she answers again “Granda” again and I ask “where” and she says “there in the trees”.
I’m now shitting my breeks as the wife gets back into the car I say “Abby tell Mummy what you said” and she says again “Granda in the trees” and then says “Granda loves you Mummy”
Car in first gear and I’m off like the clappers with the wife crying in the front.
I’m no going back to Inverary again lets put it that way.

Dundee United » Dundee United V's St.Mirren - Saturday 1st November,3pm » 02/11/2014 12:25 am |
2nd half at times was a joy to watch Connelly was superb as was Paton.
The one time Nads decided to get his head up and pass in the first half ended with the goal and after he scored in the second half he looked hungry to be involved with the rest of the team, hope he keep that up!!
I was impressed with Telfer in spells he was buzzing about first half and got stuck in ok.
The forgotten man Butcher played ok in midfield and he loves a 50-50 like!!!
All in all after a sticky first half it was a comfortable win and the main plus for me is that we now have players in Butcher, Telfer, Spittal, Connelly who are pushing for a shirt and the likes of GMS and Armstrong who have not been too hot this season know they better get the finger oot or they'll be sitting on the bench or in the stands!

Since we're giving knee injuries I'll raise you a ruptured Anteriar Cruciate Ligiment, medial Ligiment torn and a full ACL reconstruction. And yes knee injuries are fooking sore!!
Lesser Teams » Scott Allan » 30/10/2014 12:13 pm |
Ye even in his couple of games for us he ozzed class and i was really looking forward to seeing him in a Utd shirt for a couple of years, but it wasn't to be and maybe his moving opended the door to Gauldie which obviously worked out well for us!
Dundee United » Chris Erskine » 30/10/2014 12:10 pm |
Erskine has been superb this season, well done Jackie in letting him go out last season to get a season of SPFL football at Thistle under his belt and then come back ready for first team football.
Nads is starting to get on my titties now more in the fact that he is so determined to do everything himself rather than playing the simple balls, some of the runs off of him in the past few games could have led to real goal scoring chances but he keeps the ball and tries shots from 30+ yards which never come off. I know the way we are playing is not suiting him at the moment but he's really not helping himself.
Dundee United » Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final » 30/10/2014 12:03 pm |
was working in Cumbernauld last night and got in the car at 3-2 utd and had to endure the whole thing on the radio although Biscuits and Chiko Young both said it was a cracker of a game.
I'll hold my hands up i thought Rado was a gonner within a few games this season after a shaky start but well done young man for training hard and has been solid now for a good few games with his handling improving ten fold!!
Connelly was getting bigged up when he was subbied as a real find which is encouraging to hear! Spittal seemed to out on his feet too but well done young man for still being prepared to step up for the Pens.
Onwards now in the league with a semi tucked away

No not just our club Hunted your right but it's bloody frustrating when it is.
Lesser Teams » lukaz zaluska » 22/10/2014 11:39 pm |
Now I have a couple of issues here
What the fook were our players doing out at 12.30am on a Sunday night / Monday Morning with training the next morning, now either:
1. They were (as stated ) all out for a meal, now I've taken Mrs Debates out for a few meals in my time but none have ever seen us eating until after midnight and even more so if I were to be running about a football field the next morning so that's a load of bollocks IMHO.
2. More likely - They were out yes maybe for a meal but it ended up with drinking and they had a few too many scoops and got into some sort of altercation. Again WTF they are are thinking being out till that time with training the next day.
Now next issue is what's gone on as your no telling me that Zaluska was hit that hard that he was unable to see who hit him, that's the first thing you'd do is to get an idea do who smacked you and if there was witnesses about they would tell you so his statement is a load of shite too!
Be interesting to see what happens from here but I'm actually quite angry that our players never seem to get the message about keeping themselves out of bother

Dundee United » Dundee United V's Partick Thistle - Saturday 18th October (3pm) » 19/10/2014 8:37 am |
Funny old game this football you just never know what your going to get however I'll take a shite performance and 3pts than play well and get a sucker punch in the last minute and lose the game.
We are not playing well but winning and have shown in spells this season we are capable of hitting form as last season.
On a personal note took my son to his first game yesterday so I will alway remember a 1-0 win on the 18th Oct against Partick Thistle
Lesser Teams » Who would have you supported? » 12/10/2014 9:15 am |
Now coming from Montrose originally all my mates are either infirm, or sheep with the vast being sheep but I cannot even contemplate that so I'll stick with 3rd division fodder at Links Park.
Lesser Teams » Scotland Thread » 12/10/2014 9:08 am |
First half was excellent however it was a bit sticky towards the end, Andy Robertson was his usual superb self. A point in Poland would be a good result in the light of them beating Germany.
Dundee United » Festive hat-trick ticket offer » 10/10/2014 4:26 pm |
As a season ticket holder this will not apply to me but i can see a load of people who live away and are home for Xmas time taking advantage of this deal, well done Utd for thinking outside the box!
Dundee United » Title challenge » 10/10/2014 4:23 pm |
Would love to think that we could do it but realistically we will not come close and the Tic will win by at least 15pts (which is less than usual i am predicting)
We will have a blip like last year and will go a few game without winning, this due to lack of depth and us really not being that much better a squad than the rest of the teams in the league.
Every team will all take points off of each other, only difference is once Celtic get into gear the momentum seems to carry them on whereas any momentum for us and others becomes more about a fear and expectation of when it will all go tits up like last weekend!
Dundee United » Ryan Gauld » 30/9/2014 1:13 pm |
Well Done to Gauld but think it's more of a training exercise for Strachan to have a look at him with the squad rather than him getting any time on the pitch.
What's the script with Johnny Russell thought he would have got a chance as some point as he is alway seems to be in and about the goals at Derby
