Was speaking to a Hibee on twitter last night that was totally raving about the lad.
Aye we got 300k or something for him but we missed out on 2-3 years of fitba fae him and potential sell-on value of far more imo.

Ye even in his couple of games for us he ozzed class and i was really looking forward to seeing him in a Utd shirt for a couple of years, but it wasn't to be and maybe his moving opended the door to Gauldie which obviously worked out well for us!

I think it may have been the Club that needed the money as opposed to the player requesting a move for money Rodge, pity we didn't bring him back now we've got some going by reports of his performance at Hibs but all said he is theirs now and time to move on
