All cracking tunes TEK.  I'm a teacher and last year I had to explain to the Higher class what a rave was.  They were gobsmacked by the concept. Teenagers are boring bastards these days.  Most of them are just killing time until they become regular cokeheads on a night out. Sad. Here is another classic:



 

The whole 'superfan' thing really gets on my tits. I had the misfortune of sitting behind some of them a few years ago at a game at McDairmid and the abuse they dished out to certain players was shocking. Most of them were totally pished and clearly didn't have a scooby about football. The internet has given these cretins a voice and more often than not it isn't pretty. The telling thing is these guys are generally in their 20's and never saw Utd in the 80's or early 90's and have no idea what those teams were built on yet they seem to think we have a devine right to win because we were successful back then.

My fave was a 3-1 win back in the 92-93 season at Dens in driving sleet when Paddy Connolly scored an absolute screamer and John Clark scored the most bizzare goal you'll ever see. Best bit was Gary Bollan (who scored our fist that day) putting Alan Dinnie about 6 feet in the air in retribution for Dinnie's shocking assault on Paddy. Sent off but the game was won. We showed more fight in that game than the previous 6 months of that season. Billy Dodds scored a dubious goal for them. It was some game.

Rado has made some shocking mistakes but his point blank save vs St Johnstone where we lost a last minute goal at McDairmid a couple of seasons ago when we were pushing for top 6 ranks as one of the nest saves I have seen in the flesh at a match.

Thank Christ for that. Its just fights and fall outs galore on Mad on near enough every thread.
