Scotland are probably a good centre half away from being a pretty decent side.  How we get on in these qualifiers is going to depend on Steven Fletchers fitness (we're fucked in other words).  The difference when he came on was stark.  If they could get a midfield of Snodgrass Brown Mulgrew Anya, with Naismith playing off of Fletcher with Andy Robertson at left back then they could do well in this group.  Pity Snodgress is out for ages too now though.

Esther McVey: A Tory from Liverpool.  She must be popular.  I would. Sigh.

General Discussion » WYOWY 9 » 08/9/2014 9:11 am

I meant WYOWYN 10 not 20.  Posting when half cut on a school night.

Total Tory cow.
Only a weak man would succumb.

Yes I would. :-(

You've given me an idea for WYOWYN 20 though.

It could have been 5-5. Two poor defences but it made for an entertaining game. Ref was a total homer though.

I'd agree with most of the TEK's picks apart from...
Wee Jim's best was surely Eamonn Bannon: a Scottish record fee worth every penny.
Alex Smith's worst was Kevin McGowne, shocking and cost us a fortune.
I know it's not a popular thing to say but Steven Pressley was Kirkwood's best signing. Under wee Tommy he was outstanding.
Levein's best possibly Gomis.

Erik Ped loves the shed.  Got my photo taken with him and Olafsson in the Trades on the Sunday in 2010.  They were sound as a pound.

Eamonn Bannon 3rd April 1985 in a 4-0 demolition of the Fun. Somethings never change. The one I remember is Alex Taylor scoring in that game though.

BBC Breakfast Business reporter Steph McGovern: A big unit.  I reckon I probably know more about business than her but she brightens my mornings up and is hated by the Daily Mail so she must be doing something right.

I heard that Kenneth's has a back problem which will likely prevent him from playing senior football again.

Dundee United » ST's interview on the ZONE » 03/9/2014 10:16 am

Agreed like what he's looking to do.  For the first time in a while Dundee are trying  to offer some competition off the park and we have to be ready and by the sounds of it we have got a plan in place to modernise a lot of things at the club.  Still get a sense that one more player will be sold on for £1million+ next summer to finally balance the books without relying on the add-ons from previous transfers.

If this was legends then it would be Jimmy Mac every time, but it's cult heroes so its got to be Paddy.  Watching him and Drunk Dunc and Badger et al in full flight was a joy.

Credit where its due, Dundee played well today and got in Celtic's faces. The complete opposite from us against Celtic most of the time.
