Gordon Strachan commentating from the Derry, just hope the cheeky we chunt has the balls to say "this shithole hasnae changed since I played here,  ah used tae drive that shopping trolley doon the backies there Gary" or something along they lines

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Re: Dundee v Celtic

The big team in the City  just had 2 great chances to go 2-0 up, they are a threat, if McDonald had studs like Amys nipples and a great save from Gordon they would have been. Carrying quite a threat down the right hand side through Roberts and fae set pieces too

Re: Dundee v Celtic

Credit where its due, Dundee played well today and got in Celtic's faces. The complete opposite from us against Celtic most of the time.

Too much commotion

Re: Dundee v Celtic

worrying thing for me there is Hartleys ability to change his formation to expose a shite celtic side where as jmac goes stubbornly with his 4-2-3-1 even though it plays right into celtics hands

Dundee attacked celtic doon the flanks, stopping their supply...where we let them ping bah's into the box at will, ignoring them,  hoping we're better than them...when clearly we're no....you've got to hae a plan b and c v the best team in the league...

hope we score early v the fun and gee them something to chase and play into our hands.....if they snuff oot oor A game it could be st johnstone 2013/14 ah oor again

Take a right good look at the game Rodge, Dundee were by no means overwhelmed or outdone by Celtic today,  imo they deserved a draw at the very least, they certainly don't lack confidence to take a game to the opposition. I reckon they'll give us a game in September, be prepared bud i think they'll run us close unlike the early exchanges last time around. I'll take 2 wins whatever way they come.

They played well mate just they look a bit unfit, whether that's full time pace of the SPL catching up.  Game plan v them:

Get Nadir and Mario on their centre backs, they look dodgy. GMS attacking their left back.

Amo driving through the middle of the park on top of harkins. Paton and Rankin battle with their midfield.

Fojut and morris bully as per and Townsend stay alert against that Roberts.

Re: Dundee v Celtic

I took the game as a1-1 draw on the predictor so am in no way surprised by the scoreline.

Dundee have themselves a good Manager and hard working team at long last.

We will have to be at 100% to win the Derbies.
