Interesting rumour.
3 caps for Sweden and he's only 22. Would be a bit of a coup.
This name seems to be cropping up again.
Report fae 20th June translated...
Hacken midfielder Daleho Irandust has been chased for a long time. And now Göteborgs-Posten reports that representatives from Dutch FC Groningen have been on site in Sweden to both scout - and talk about the midfielder.
In January, Daleho Irandust was about to be sold to French Toulouse for approximately SEK 19 million. But the transfer was stopped when the French felt that the midfielder needed surgery.
Irandust has now undergone surgery and interest is growing again. Göteborgs-Posten now states that representatives from Dutch FC Groningen have been on site in Sweden to scout Irandust. According to the newspaper, the club has been keeping an eye on the 23-year-old for a long time and that they also received a transfer offer accepted last winter.
And a few weeks ago, talks should have started between the various parties.
- There is a general interest in Daleho. However, nothing concrete, says Häcken's sports director Martin Ericsson to GP.

Very scared about the run in. Can only hope now. Relieved we still have Shankland.
All down to the tactics, form of existing players and luck.
Was going to add refereeing but fuckall likely to change on that front.
Fans can do nothing to help or hinder.
Micky Mellon needs to change & motivate or we have an incoming fucking nightmare.

Scott Burns saying there is interest in Neilson but doesn't expect him to leave during this window.

A bit like saying yer wife or lass is too hot and wasted in your bed as yer no performing so give her away to be pumped properly by someone else.
Bonkers.

Expect tae be hurt but hoping for the biggest surprise. That'll take a combo of unforseen performance, ref, luck, them loosing the plot and mair luck n' a boost fae all the afore mentioned tae actually attack a fucking goal and not pretend tae try like we crave.

Magic. Love this.
Hopefully the next rising star realises it's not all about sitting on a bench somewhere else on mair money that lasts a short time and kills their career.

I wasn't aware folk not rating Nicky Clarke was a thing TBH.
Where is this coming fae?
Dundee United » 20% Wage cut » 31/10/2020 1:02 am |
What's happening isn't surprising. Could have done this earlier but didn't and strengthend the squad.
Hard to comment without knowing all the facts and full situation.
I'm glad we brought in McNulty and Fuchs.
Other clubs will soon follow the same publically.
Shitstorm ahead without government help.
I don't blame Ogren or fault him for much I'm aware of but I don't know enough facts.
We're no the media darlings we once were and the knives are out for us in a sneaky way.

1 point has me relieved having watched that.
Now in 6th place on points only but played mair games than some.
So badly needing a good forward passing midfielder that boosts confidence in moving the fk up the pitch and having a fkn go with belief rather that sitting too fkn deep and hoping the counter will get quality Shanks & McNulty a chance that steals the game.

Fell asleep after 15 minutes and woke up in the 87th minute pleasantly surprised. Couldn't help but noticed that, the few minutes I did see, of the 6 passes Powers played, 5 of them were forward and in to the strikers. Of which 4 of them were successful and took us 15 yards up the pitch.
Been saying it for a while now but Powers MUST start for me. You can't create chances with Butcher and Harkes playing it sideways and backwards, and that's less of a slight on Butcher as ultimately that is his game. Harkes I think has been very poor all season.
🤣 Surprisingly spot on for missing the majority Morphy.
Outside that, aye Harkes is over rated and under performing. Butcher was as bad as he has been so you are lucky you missed his shit mate. Nae clue regarding what was happening around him out of peripheral vision.
The pair might come onto a better form but yesterday just proved to some we need at leat a decent player in the middle.
Hopefully Fuchs makes a difference and they step up.

Lack of effort is never an excuse.
Underestimating opposition, having less urgency & fight etc has to be a thing of the past after years of it.
Players are taking wages from fans donating ST money knowing we can't turn up. For them to take it & not turn up kills support!

I'd bin that Oli McBurnie if i was Stevie Clarke btw. Can't believe Sheff Utd paid 20M for him. He's hopeless.
Lyndon Dykes and Leigh Griffiths would be my front two in Serbia.
I'd have Lawrence Shankland and Kevin Nisbet ahead of McBurnie in the pecking order. Both of whom would be a good foil for Dykes via the bench.I've tried tae give McBurnie a break in my thinking after he dissed Scotland in the video footage, then the other shit but tonight he confounded my worries with his lack of 100% in ways especially off the ball for the umpteenth time.
Aye. Bin him.
Like Dykes. Don't like The Thumb but rekon he's mair likely tae score than maist & on a big stage.
Happy for Shankland tae have less pressure than starting & be appreciated mair as a subbie than trashed by the nation right now for his & our benefit.
Regards Shankland being a Scotland starter i'd say he needs to learn to walk before he can run mate.
As much as i love our boy Shankland (and rate him) he has, lest we forget only ever started 4 matches in the Scottish top flight. Him and Nisbet should going forward in the short-term be considered our 'super-subs'.
Griffiths is the best finisher in Scottish football imo and has been for many years. And i really like Dykes.
Have rated him highly since Qots. Disappointed we never tried to bring him to Tannadice at any point considering he was under our nose for 3 seasons.
For this next huge match in Serbia, Clarke has to do what is right for our country and bin Oli McBurnie and Ryan Jack. Both of whom are mediocre and have a nonchalant attitude.
Call-up Griffiths, Nesbit. And hopefully we get Armstrong, Christie and Tierney back.
Fucking GO FOR IT! Bin the negative, backs to the wall pish.
We won't bin playing it safe mate but totally agree.
Need to get The Thumb in and at least get Nisbet in and around the squad like they did Shankland when they got a surprise

Positives - We scored 6 goals and won the game. Mehmet had another good game. Also Cammy Smith made a good cameo and perhaps forced his way back into MM's thoughts somewhat. Young Kai Fotheringham dubuted.
And just the fact that we have Shankland, McNulty, Fuchs, Liam Smith, Chalmers and Siegrest to call upon later in the tournament (should we progress). So we have a lot of experience and strength to call upon as the challenges become tougher.
Negatives - The defence looking awful at times, particularly Mark Reynolds in particular. He had a nightmare. Brechin scored 2 against us but could have actually scored 4 or 5. This is a BIG worry as we look like conceding and gifting opponents chances in every single match, so will be heavily reliant on outscoring teams until new recruits can be found defensively.
Not enough fringe men doing enough to impress. Louis Appere in particular very off the boil. Looks a shadow of the big bustling, athletic, skilfull player he was this time a year ago. I think he might be put out on loan till January.
Shite negatives but cannae argue. Hard not tae worry regarding defence.
With McNulty and Fuchs in we can only hope for a big change in set up, tactics a better midfield tae upfront success rate.
Even if Jeando Fuchs turns out to be quality, Bolton improves &'s moved up, McNulty forms a partnership with Shankland & is as much a success as historically it'll be hard tae be a team that says you score whatever & we'll score more if we defend like the last wee while.
Hopefully that's wrong.

I just hope if he goes this window it isn't on the last day and we're not scrambling about for a replacement.
4 mil + add onsWell Scott McKenna his fellow Scottish Internationalist is going from Aberdeen to Forest for reportedly 6M+ add-on's.
So that amount maybe isn't unrealistic.
I just hope he stays however.
If you take out the bumper bargain price tags the Scottish teams in general have been fucked over with in recent years and go with a more general European value or even English value he's worth between £8M & £50M.

A post-Burton, further developed Scott Fraser would be manna from heaven but if I was him i wouldn't come near Tannadice & who could blame him? Monsters in the Dode Lower.
I'm not one to slate a player verbally but I was maybe a monster in the East Stand Lower near the back center of the stand when he shat out of tackles in a game Hearts 1st time it irritated me badly then mair times later.
I expect United players to give their all in every game, just like what Micky Mellon is getting credit for creating early days Smeds.
After being annoyed about him shiteing out we ended up in a league that teams thrived on that and taking advantage of that and big time inflated attitudes.
I'd have kept him if we could have for the creativity and hope he'd have his boy band immature attitude changed at a later date by a better manager but things are what they are. He was a tit and a shite bag with an attitude we don't need at Dundee United.

No goals scored in our last two games (and indeed no goals scored in 50% of our games thus far).
Meanwhile the Rangers haven't conceded a goal yet. So this fixture is looking quite ominous given our current resources.
How do we play this fixture then?
Backs to the wall job?
Ten men behind the ball and try and somehow keep a clean sheet and escape with a point (we were only 7 minutes from this tactic working against Celtic, afterall)?
Or do we have any scope for being a bit more cavalier?
Time for Declan Glass...Dillon Powers..or Ryan Edwards to get a start? Do we start our talisman Shankland if he has returned back to training this week?
Really interested to hear everyone's line-up's and formations for what will be a huge match in our season.
Time for a fluke and a change in stats for baith teams 🤞🏼
Dundee United » James Norwood » 24/8/2020 12:07 am |
Seems to have been a decent player but rekon the chances of us having him are really down to using us as a fitness experiment after his injuries, ops and to see some kind of lesser risk recovery than playing for them.

So looking like St Mirren on 19th September we will be allowed into Tannadice.
Be interesting to read the ins and outs for this in full.
It's important to fill in the survey the club are asking season ticket holder to complete.
The total attendance and seating arrangements in will depend on "social bubbles" , that may be allowed to sit together so they need this information from fans ASAP.
United, "From discussions thus far, it may be possible for supporters to sit within what is known as a ‘social bubble’ (family/friend from one other household) without the need for social distancing but this is subject to change. We intend to provide further clarification online as soon as the guidance is confirmed by our governing bodies."
If you have a season card you should have had an email with a link to the questionnaire.

I love our Tangerine/Black n' White colours!
I relate to them at my age and don't feel it's a good idea to use the colours we were founded with as we got away fae them and even changed our name to widen the appeal and distance our club fae the shite that goes with that.
Wasn't happy with purple idea regardless of the cause but initial feeling is it looks as good as you could make a purple kit.
Wee lass loves it, Wee lad doesnae.
