Derek was quality, top bloke too, played ammie against him a (good) few years back, guy had more strapping than an a&e ward but still had it.
Have to vote for Badger tho, guys a hero of mine. And scored a hat trick at Dens in his last game, can't really beat that.

I have the utmost respect for Derek Stark for his incredible achievments at Dundee United (he's won as much at our club as ANYONE,as a player). But he was just a wee bit before my time.
Badger was a real hero of mine as a kid,so he get's my vote.
My first memory of him was being a shock starter in the '88 Scottish Cup Final and despite only being a lad it immediately struck me that this was a really good player who looked to have massive confidence in his ability and looked every inch a lad that believed he was as good as anyone else on the Hampden pitch (if not better). If i recall correctly he actually won the sponsors Motm that day, despite only just turning 19.
A top quality midfielder.

Yeah Badger for me too, even though it was another sore loss in a final to Celtic a young star shone that day, I'm sure i can remember him playing keepy up near the touchline when the play had stopped for a bit, probably the only person (Kevin Gallagher maybe also) wearing tangerine that day that wasn't overawed by the occasion as usual (the fans included). Attitude and ability in abundance

I missed the the glory years of the 80's (first game was January 1990), so on that rationale having missed Derek Stark, my vote goes to Badger.
Offline
Both before my time but I'll go for Badger.

Derek Stark...Badgers time at utd was tainted for me near the end, he turned and told a fellow supporter to shut his puss in the dode fox right in front of us..in oor old corner before the ET was built....wasna exactly a happy bunny near the end..watch his reaction during those three at dens

Despite being at the game when we won the league I have no real memories of Stark. Too young
