Taking my wee boy to his first derby match on Friday and I was telling him about mine, it's amazing the amount of trivial stuff you mind but what was yours?
21st November 1992, 3-1 win at Dens.
Arrived at the ground really earlier, had two pies bought out a wee shed in the terrace behind the goal, stood there buzzing as the place filled up.
Couple of the crowd I was with also at the time pointed out the failed Dens Greyhound adventure and that when I started link them to all things fun.
An auld guy pushing against a barrier as if it was the most natural thing in the world and most folk smoking where they stood trying to calm there nerves.
On to the game and we dominated from start to finish, weather turned in the second half and it pissed down from the high heavens. Billy mckinlay was the stand out player on display pulling the strings in the middle, pure class.
Hopefully wit ha bit of luck the sun will shine and we will win 3-1 on Friday.

John Clark scored a header whilst sitting on his arse that game, I'm sure Billy Dodds was sent off also.

Was it a header? My memory is hazy. I thought he scrambled the ball in.
