Louis Appéré

Lad looks decent and an asset. Might need a song soon and or at least have his fkn name pronounced correctly by the commentators and those at the club.

Heard pronounciations fae folk that ken him tae hearing the club fae RN tae azone and fans calling him stuff that sounds like "Appray, Apperry/Apperie, Apair etc.

Can we get this right ffs? Nippin ma heed.

Googled it & this is what seems tae be (mibbies)...

Can somecnt just ask him ffs?

No even sure he'll ken as he's no fae the place of his name but surley needs tae be called/sung right.

Seems like it might be pronounced like "Appairae"?

Re: Louis Appéré

Nice post Arabnophobia. Brightened up my day. On LA i`m not sure what to make of him as yet. I've seen him have a couple of grim games eg Thistle on Friday night but i was really surprised at his excellent showing against ICT. LA, Banks and Chalmers have shown a lot of promise and i´d like to think they might become part of a really fine side in the near future.

Re: Louis Appéré

Not sure how to pronounce his name properly.

But I do know that just 4 months ago he was playing for a Junior team.

The lad deserves enormous credit for working hard on his game and his physique.

He has always had the raw talent from what I have heard.

Remember the trial at Roma?

But his physicality and cardio was not always up to scratch from reports i heard of his first 2/3 years at Utd. There was doubts whether he would be good enough to make the breakthrough.

He has came back over the Summer and now looks like a man. Hard work pays off.

RN called him out as the player that came back after the break as being in the best shape and looked after himself better than any other in the squad.
I watched a twatter vid of Scott Fraser a while ago after he just signed for Burton Albion saying he used to eat biscuits after training but now at his new club he is listening tae the dietitian and sports science folk.
Pissed me right aff. He fkn knew what to do afore. Dick. Rather have a player like Louis than a Scott Fraser type

Re: Louis Appéré

He's got a coolness and assuredness that belies his age and experience level

Re: Louis Appéré

I like him. Has done well since RN gave him his chance. He is only a young laddie and wi make mistakes.  The loan spell at broughty has done him the world of good.

It certainly has 6 months of real football with real tackles is exactly what is needed. We have sent another two yoingsters to Brougjty this week cant remember their names.
