Given the debate on the O'Hanlon thread probably worth putting this out. Nothing fancy, no games ratios unless you really are into that. Who did you think were most pish between the sticks for United? Mine:
1. Keys
2. Szromnik
3. Rakovan
4. Hirschfield
5. Jorgenson
6. Jarvie
7. Colgan
8. O'Hanlon
9. Zwick
10. Kawashima
Notable mentions to Harry Lewis (post January was horrendous: confidence completely shot), Tony Bullock (bang average), Derek Stillie (cost a lot, was crap but got better after Levein came in as manager), Michael McGovern (only played one half against Barca and was dreadful but has had a decent career elsewhere), Euan McLean (had a really good game in a win against DEADCO but was crap in his next game v Gretna), Marc McCallum (only had one game and struggled, was really shabbily treated by McNamara but is doing really well at Forfar and is seemingly going to Hibs), Scott Thomson (struggled for us but had a good career elsewhere and saved the penalty from McStay to win the League Cup for Raith Rovers which was funny as fuck). As metioned elsewhere there was also Pat Onstad and Keilko Camara signed by Luggy and Levein respectively who never played a first team game but had very good careers elsewhere. Did Stuart Garden actually play a first team game for us? Does anyone remember a keeper called Brian Flies? I think he was signed in an emergency capacity and only played a couple of games (under Tommy McLean I think?). I never seen him play. Was he any good?

Worst -
1) Mikael Szromnik
2) Nick Colgan
3) Lance Key
4) Matej Rakovan
5) Henrik Jorgensson
6) Paul Jarvie
7) Lars Hirschfeld
8) Harry Lewis
9) Eiji Kawashima
10) Derek Stillie
Stillie 100% deserves to be in the Top 10.
Wasn't a bombscare as such but i genuinely don't recall him making any great saves either. Or particulary ever having even a decent, commanding game.
Other guys mentioned like Tony Bullock and Kelham O'Hanlon had at least the odd blinder in goal.

Brian Flies? Did he play against killie at the old rugby park and come over and hand his gloves to someone in the utd support?

Deffo the old one. Recall standing that day in what now would be the home end.

O’Hanlon never played a blinder, he played like he was blind. Agree he wasn’t the worst tho, the lists on this thread are mental, how the hell have we managed to sign so many terrible keepers.

Peter Bonetti was pretty poor for us and got binned after shipping 4 at morton IIRC

Before my time, but heard this too.
Great Keeper previously, obviously.
But when you're done, you're done. Time catches up with everyone. Think he was 39 or something when we signed him.
