Entry & ticketing yesterday

How did everyone fine it yesterday with the new system?

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

Simple.

Presented card, boy scanned it, went through turnstyle.

None of this ripping a ticket out of a book, or waiting to be given a section your ticket back caper.

One thing I will say though is, if we get a big cup game at home and we take a big scalp, there's now no ticket stub if you buy online and load the card.

I do like to retain a ticket stub in case we go all the way.

Straight forward. Turned up about ten to 3. No delays

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

Doddle, showed my phone, lassie scanned it, swiped to my old man's ticket, she scanned that then let us both through, excellent stuff.

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

No problem, I got in no bother. Wee brother had to go to the shop as they fucked up his seat number and unknowningly to him, cancelled his season ticket, when they said they said he’d be all right for the Inverness game and that they’d send him a new one with the right number in a couple weeks, the boy at the door of the shop was apparently a bit arsey with him.

Feel like they should have one cash gate at the East Stand and the GF, even just for this season only, just so the folk who aren’t used to the new system can get adjusted. Adopting a hardline approach only turns people away as they can’t be arsed with the hassle.

For someone in my mid-twenties like myself, I’m all for the new system both at the gate and inside the ground, as I never carry cash with me, and use Apple Pay for everything, to the point of avoiding pubs that don’t take cards.

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

Looks to have been very few problems which is good considering the size of support in the 2 home ends.

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

The scanner was struggling to read off some phone screens the lassie at the gate said.  Took 3 or 4 attempts with mine, but it’s quick enough.

I would think if you want a paper ticket that will also still be possible as i know people like to collect them.

I thought the queue at the Cowdenbeath went a lot quicker with the scanner,

Re: Entry & ticketing yesterday

I saw people getting turned away at the gates. Dont know what for tho. Also there was a bloke and his young lad beside me that had row V on their tickets. The east stand only goes to U.
No real major issues tho.
