Derby tickets

Apparently confirmed we are keeping the shed for United fans for the derby at the end of August.

I hope we can pack out the 3 stands for this and prove its the right move.

Dundee will still have around 3000 ticket's for the match.

Re: Derby tickets

Good decision so long as the fans turn up. Not sure it’ll be as successful as it was for the playoffs since they were one-offs and season tickets weren’t valid so people had the luxury of choosing any stand they wanted.

If they still have about 3000 I’m assuming our allocation at dens would stay the same?

Re: Derby tickets

I really do hope we can fill the 3 or the club ends up looking very silly in the decision.
With just under 4k season ticket holders we are looking for 5000+ cash customers to pay
£22 & £11 for lower tiers, £24 & £12 for upper tiers. (that price is with the £2 per adult £1 per concession discount to buy in advance of matchday.

If anything they would only take the main stand of us i would imagine.

Re: Derby tickets

Could well be dependent on how we start the league campaign.

If we are top of the league and are unbeaten come the 30th of August I reckon a few who are on the fence may decide they quite fancy seeing the game in the flesh rather than from the comfort of home/the pub.

If we start as we did in seasons 1and 3 in the championship (season 2 saw us yield 9 from 9, albeit while playing poorly, until a Lewis Morgan inspired St Mirren hammered us 3-0) then people who aren’t sure if they fancy it will settle for the tele. Up the the team to fill the ground.

Re: Derby tickets

There are around the same available seats in the Jerry Kerr as there are in The Shed. Dundee fans freaking oot and some comments of boycotting absolutely mental. They'll not even sell that out. Will be good to have Utd fans in Shed.

Re: Derby tickets

The full away section holds approx 5400 I think. Shed holds 1800 so they are getting 3600. Double their season ticket sales. Moaning cunts

Re: Derby tickets

Also another thing.

We are keeping the shed and giving them the JK & FP stands. They have only had the FP and Shed at the past few derby and Utd fans in the JK. So the allocation we give then wont be much different than it was. They haven't had the 3 stands for some time.

Re: Derby tickets

It's just them trying to stir up a grievance where none exists.
