Neilson said in post match interview that Pawlett is back in training with the squad and should be available for action in '1 or 2 weeks'.
He said that Sow would be 1 or 2 weeks after that.
Positive about Pawlett. I really want to see him back in this team fully fit. Hopefully us taking our time with him will help him get the best out of his fitness-wise.
As for Sow, cant shake the feeling that this calf injury is going to be a tough one to shake for him. Hopefully not though.

Just have a feeling that Sow’s injuries will last most of the season. A hint of a cold will be like a proper dose of the flu with him.
Someone commented on here we should hope they're well insured but besides that I wonder if their contracts are aligned to their fitness to play.

Something that puzzles me is Osman Sow going on the train journey down south when he is troubled by a nagging injury. Cannae get why the club took him to Shrewsbury rather than either resting him up or working on his fitness.

Making players travel to games you have no intention playing them in is a ploy often used by managers to piss off players they're trying to offload.
Makes you wonder.
He's 29, with his best years likely behind him, and has made an undoubted fortune from his year and a half in China and UAE. Does anyone really think he's busting a gut to get back fit to play second tier Scottish football?

Seeing you posted that Trap 6 I'll release the latest rumour.
The Club is desperately trying to get rid of him.
I hope not otherwise the Sow Experiment will have backfired badly.

He's been out since the Brechin game on the 5th of July with a calf knock so that was just over 3 weeks ago. Neilson said after the game yesterday on Arabzone that Sow would be back in anoher 3-4 weeks so that'll have been potentially 7 weeks out with a calf knock.
By coincidence, I pulled my calf a fortnight ago and it was bloody sore at the time. However, I was back on the treadmill yesterday pain free. I did have a look online about my injury and it said minor calf knocks should take a week to 10 days to heal but to be fair it said more serious ones require 5-6 weeks rest to heal from. I'm guessing that Sow has fallen into the latter category.

Given his current and historic injury issues it's hard to see a queue forming...
Reckon we're stuck with him for good or ill... hopefully the former but gotta be honest I have a bad feeling on this one.

Local rumours of his problems not being physical won’t go away.

Osman Sow won't play for Utd again.
That's a prediction btw. Not a statement of fact.

As I’ve stated previously, I really like Sow and think he can offer something unique to any other striker in this division.
However, when it comes to both him and Pawlett, their injury issues didn’t start when they rocked up to tannadice on the last day of the January transfer window.
They’ve had documented injuries since before they left Hearts and Aberdeen respectively. That coupled with the fact neither played much at MK Dons after being signed by Neilson due to their injuries should’ve told the manager all he needed to know.
I don’t really attribute much of the play to either of them, they were offered contracts despite it being well know they had fitness issues.
The problem lies with the recruitment. Neilson has seen them both first had at their previous club so knows them well, yet is signing them on massive games despite their fitness?
It’s been a waste of a significant amount of money that could’ve easily been avoided.

No.
Particulary when he knows the club are actively trying to punt him.
Rumour is we offered him 3 months wages upfront to go now, but he's holding out for his full year.
My guess there will be a compromise near the end of the window and they'll both shake on 6 months.
Been a disastrous signing.
