What’s Lewis Morgan up to? Loaned anywhere?
He would bring balance to our side at the end of the park it’s needed.
Can't answer your question Mr Chop but that is EXACTLY the type of player we're needing.
ONE more signing would do me & if it's someone like that in that position I'll be happy.

He’s played in all 3 of Celtic’s champions league qualifiers so far, starting 1. That’s a nonstarter sadly.

I had no idea. Lennon must fancy him then.

Davis Keillor Dunn (Ross County)
Year left on his deal, left winger. 21
was on loan at Falkirk, so doubt he’ll play in the Prem this year.
again, just a suggestion

Anyone know what kind of fee we are getting for Bouhenna?

I'll take all the wingers we can get right now.
Had a wee search of Elliot Frear and he was near the top of the table for 'chances created' in the Prem last season. Signing him would be encouraging as we need Shankland to get all the service he can get.

Square pegs, square holes is what we need.
We have had far too many utility men in the recent past.
sign a player for a position, play him there

Any fresh rumours going around? I still have an inkling we will be sniffing around Stevie May after his move to St J fell through. Dundee just signed a striker (Danny Johnstone - Motherwell) so maybe unlikely they are still in for him.
St Mirren and Killie also credited with interest but would he prefer a move to one of the Dundee clubs due to location?
Also this winger situation, someone said before we were after Elliot Frear? Any more on that?
Elliot frear was apparently sitting next to Lee mcculloch at game other night that’s where I got it from
Motherwell fans dont appear bothered to be losing frear

Bouhenna on a plane to Bucharest now. Who in their right mind who actually want to play for Csaba again. Mental.

we need 1/2 in this week.
Happy with just 1 if it’s a left winger.

Rachid confirmed away.
Undisclosed, sadly I’m sure this money will be used to offload a couple.

I'll bet he does ok in Romania, even if it's under Csaba.
Don't you think a lot of our departing players seem to breathe fresh air when they leave us?
A bit worrying that.
Our young loan-outs too often do well away from Tannadice.
Current example is Declan Glass who seems to be on fire with Cove.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Stevie May signed now, he's stalling on signing for someone else for a reason.

I sometimes think there’s a toxic atmosphere which will certainly not help youngsters. Having said that it would help enormously if we could play a more attractive style of football that would help also.

Since the end of season 18/19 we have shipped out FIFTEEN players (Ross Laidlaw, William Edjenguele, Stewart Murdoch, Lewis Toshney, Morgaro Gomis, Adam Barton, Rachid Bouhenna, Christoph Rabitsch, Fraser Fyvie, Billy King, Pavol Safranko, Aiden Nesbitt, Charlie Seaman, Archie Thomas and Mati Zata). And sent Declan Glass on loan. 16 players moved on in total.
Signed 5 (1 of which was signed in January).
The squad is no stronger than it was as we lost in Paisley two months ago (bar maybe right back).
Time for a few signings. This nonsense Neilson spoke about being 'happy with what he had' if we had to start the season with what we had, was completely blown out the water by the East Fife fiasco. The whole close season has been unimpressive in general.
Big week coming up. Or it should be.

Totally agree. Previously Neilson has tended to lie to the press (remember he said he was happy with Csaba's team and we didnt need many changes before signing 11 new players in January!)
I've never thought about that difference before. So many went out but only 5 in. Granted, Shankland probably taking up a few slots by himself, but hopefully we'll see the benefit of that.
I'm fairly sure we'll have one or two in the next week or two. Then maybe one more nearer the end of the window? Also maybe a Loan from somewhere? Neilson bangs on about wanting to close-nit squad which is fair enough but we NEED to win this league.

Still say we need 4 players in if we want to win league.

Some truth in this, Liam Smith said a couple of things at the train station on Sat.

About which bit? The toxic atmosphere or the need to play more attractive football?
I think the latter is what is causing the former btw although I think toxic is too strong a word.

The atmosphere at tannadice is shocking, to many people too quick to jump on players backs, I understand the frustration at games and the slow build up at times but sitting at tannadice is infuriating sometimes it’s like some fans just go to shout abuse at the players, it’s been like this since the relegation, I’ll probs get stick for this as “fans” pay good money and have right to voice there opinions but if these fans think booing every 5 minutes will help us get up, there so so wrong
If only we could have our away support at every home game, the contrast is unbelievable

I always thought this was just another excuse from the players, and to an extent it is. But I’ve sat in the George Fox for the last couple of games, and fuck me, that place is absolutely toxic. Loads of chunts getting on players back at the first sign of a backward pass, absolutely no fucking need for it, and I can see how it could wear players down. I was kind of oblivious to it as I usually sit in the East Stand, but phuck me, that was an eye-opener, and a big reminder of why I moved away from the George Fox years ago, and won’t be going back anytime soon if I can help it.

A slightly different view on the atmosphere but my observation is so many of our signings best games are within their first few appearances. True under both Csaba and Neilson. Pawlett looked great against Morton, his movement and link up was exactly what was missing, then it disappeared? Connolly and Reynolds have regressed slightly from there steady start. McMullan another example if you go further back. Butcher and Harkes petered out since Jan too....
Is it fan expectation, atmosphere or instruction? Or a combination most likely.

There are games at Tannadice where the atmosphere is outstanding. The problem is when we go behind or arent playing well, we struggle to muster a continuous atmosphere to drag the players through. I know that it should be the players that get us out of our seats but its been a long time since we've had a home game where you really felt the crowd drag the team back from defeat. The QOTS at home last year was close but tbh it was the players who got us out of our seats by starting to create chances.
Not sure how we fix it.
Away crowds on the other hand are the complete opposite.
