Sure we'll have a good travelling support bud going by the last few engerlandshire friendlies and the gap inbetween. It's been a while since we had an excuse for a weekend farawayday/weekender.

Any Arabs looking for accommodation might want to do it fast. Airbnd message was bookings are up 70% in Shrewsbury today and Booking.com selling fast too.

Re: Friendly

Ironically I visited Shrewsbury last Summer, but unfortunately wont be getting to this game. The football ground is away on the South side of the town, and never managed to go there, but I did manage to visit the site of their old ground on the banks of the Severn right in the town centre.

For anybody wanting to go there, theres a good Train service, although I did drive there myself. Plenty boozers in town, but nae Tennents. If yer planning to go there for a couple of days, rather than a dash doon there and back, worth spending some time in town, as its a nice place to visit.

Heard flights tae Birmingham are £44  and bus is £15.

Liverpool & Manchester are close too bud.

I have to drive as the wee man wants to come and he shouldnae go on the bus I want tae go on at his age.

Nae regrets though, lookin forward to giving him his 1st out of Scotland match experience with folk as passionate as his wee self. Best away day for him yet was Inverness 0-1.
He will care about the result in a friendly though. 🤞🏻💛

Re: Friendly

Noticed Shrewsbury Town installed a safe standing area a couple of years ago that cost only around £65 000 I think and is done in a way we could emulate maybe easier than some of the previous suggestions we've had/offered...

Looks good.

Good place to put their vocal fans too. Will make them sound really loud on t.v./radio.

I’m heading down with a few mates. Planning to go by train but worse comes to worst we’ll take the car. Wigan was class a few years ago so hopefully more of the same.
