Good luck to the Wrexham fans with this signing as they are going to need it when they see what a useless charlatan he is.

Hopefully the first of a few much needed exits of players who are no longer needed.

Good luck to him but delighted to see him off the wage bill to allow better spending for a better squad with more ability and the attitude we require.

Signing players that’s said they didn’t like football not long before we sign them probably isn’t the best transfer policy but that’s just a hunch.

While I'm not quite with smedDUm (desperately disappointed), Barton's gone, and while I shared kingdomarab's fear for his signing after his Chris Eubank like statement regarding the sport at which he had some ability, he had qualities about him while lacking in commitment.

Think he was regarded of as an outstanding prospect at one point, but just after turning 21 he had that terrible injury (broke leg in three places and dislocated ankle) which in some ways explains his perceived fear of getting stuck in.

I only remember coming out of one match and thinking he'd perhaps do ok for us, the match v Thistle where he almost scored a couple.

Anyway, he's away now.
