While there had not been really that much for the keepers to do I think that so far Morocco have looked the better so far.

Still goalless in the Namibia v Ivory Coast game.

Still goalless with South Africa v Morocco with around 20 minutes left, similar to the first half with Morocco looking the better side.

Morocco have had a couple decent opportunities with an effort hitting the bar, I can not think of that much South Africa have created.

A quick glance at the other game reveals Ivory Coast are 2-1 ahead.

A deserved win for Morocco over a poor and disappointing South Africa, full points for Morocco while South Africa have to wait to see if theye progress as one of the best 3rd place sides.

If they do not make it through they can not have any complaints on today's performance.

Ivory Coast hammered Namibia 4-1 so progress along with Morocco.

Senegal have looked decent against Kenya so far after 20 minutes and have had a strong handball penalty claim for handball just turned down by the ref.

If reckon they will win this one.

The Senegal No 9 has just been denied by a decent save a minute or two ago, Senegal continuing to look good and Kenya probably lucky to be level.

Senegal really are dominating and have now won a penalty for a clumsy challenge by the Kenyan defender.

A Senegal lead would be thoroughly deserved.

A dreadful, dreadful penalty and a very easy save for the keeper.

A goalless first half, however Senegal have been dominant and could be 2 or 3 ahead but for some good goalkeeping and poor finishing.

The penalty in particular was dreadful.

Senegal still looking good in the opening 15 minutes of the second half and I would fancy them to go on and get the winner.

Kenya with a very good chance around 61 minutes that forced a rare but very good save from the Senegal keeper.

Within a few minutes that proves costly as Senegal go one nil up and deservedly so.

Senegal have doubled their lead and that should be the points safe now. It seems difficult to see anyway back for Kenya now

Difficult has become impossible as Kenya have conceded a second penalty and had the offended sent off for a second yellow card.

The penalty was well taken and that is 3-0 game over.

A comfortable 3-0 win for Senegal tonight in the end and it is a scoreline which probably should have been more.

Kenya did have a couple of good second half chances in fairness.

Mauritania v Tunisia

I will probably watch the Benin game at 5pm and Mauritania at 8pm, while recording the two other games to watch later.

A decent 15 minuteso from Cameroon who have looked solid and have had a couple of decent chances one a header over the bar and a free kickick that that went just wide.

A colourful encounter though with Cameroon in red and green and Benin in all yellow.

A goalless first half in which Cameroon have looked ok but they can certainly improve although they have had a few decent oportunities.

Benin will probably be the happier at half time as they have not created to much but they have given Cameroon a couple of scares.

The second half has been rather dull so far in all honesty and looks like it is heading for a 0-0.

As I type a shot from range is comfortably held by the Benin keeper.

The second half has been dreadful with really little of note happening.

As I say that Benin win a free kick on the edge of the box and in keeping with a poor half it lacks quality as it is blasted straight into the defensive wall.

Benin 0-0 Cameroon the scoreline pretty much sums things up and not much else needs to be said.

Mauritania almost taking an early lead against Tunisia, it will be interesting to see if there can be an upset in this game.

Mauritania have looked decent and have caused a few problems to Tunisia so far.

They have had to make an early defensive change due to injury so hopefully it does not have to negative an effect on Mauritania.

Mauritania have just wasted a glorious headed chance a few seconds ago putting it wide.

Half time and 0-0 in a game in which Mauritania have certainly been the better side and deserve to be a couple up at least.

Tunisia have to be far better in the second half if they want to win as they have been very poor so far.

Algeria have been better in the second half, although it has to be said Mauritania have faded to a degree after the break.

In saying that Mauritania have just had a couple of opportunities just there

The ref in this Tunisia game has been lenient especially in the use of cards when looking at some players getting away with multiple fouls and not going in the book.

Tunisia with a wasted headed chance in the final seconds of the regular 90 minutes and now there is 3 minutes of injury time.
