Re: black friday mayhem

Somebody got slashed in the Kingsaway Tesco this morning seemingly.  My wife went up to Asda in Forfar this morning and the place was packed out of the door at 7:50pm and every telly was gone 10 mins before the sale had actually started.  She just about turned and came home.  Mental.  They'll all come down in price on Boxing Day anyways.

Too much commotion

Re: black friday mayhem

Unbelievable scenes in every big store across the UK.

I'm not a materialistic person in the least,i just dinnae get that culture of NEEDING things like that so much so that you would wrestle wi folk in your local Tesco's.

Quite disgusting greed IMO.

Re: black friday mayhem

I wonder how many of those folk had outstanding court fines. The Polis should have went in and lifted them en-masse and got the money off them, since they all appeared to be flush with cash. Gadgie bastards.

Too much commotion

Re: black friday mayhem

Absolutely mental, enforcing culture from elsewhere. Just don't get it. Anything to try and get money out of folk. Panic from companies because they need more sales before December even though it will be busy enough, but no they want more. Got to keep the shareholders happy or the whole world will stop turning, no confidence in the shop place. When will this false economy ever end?!
