Can't get remotely enthused about when we are playing Alloa, Arbroath or QotS tbh. I just take whatever comes.

KilMac Stadium. Jings. Eh thought McCann and McIntyre had been secked, didna realise they'd been shot. Maks ye wonder what plans they have in store for McPake.

Death by 4 derbies

Looking at that opening month that is a tough start against sides you would certainly expect to be fighting for promotion this season and healthy points tally would be nice.
As far as points go I would think 10 points would certainly be a very good. Wins over ICT and Dundee at home and an away win over either Dunfermline or Partick with a draw against the other is certainly more than achievable.

Strange that we already have a couple of Tuesday night games before even dealing with re arranged fixtures due to weather.
All 4 derbies will probably be moved for TV.
If so I hope tae fk the TV companies give us the longest notice possible. I'm sick of having tae book holidays to attend matches that get moved after I've booked time aff.

Could the midweek games not be an attempt to get the season to an earlier finish this year given there is the Euro 2020 championships next summer and they want all leagues and playoff games finished asap.
I am sure I read that the Scottish Cup final will be played before the end of the season so Hampden is back in good condition for them.

It is getting played earlier (9 May), a couple of weeks before the league season ends (w/e 16/17 May). However, Wembley is also being used for Euro 2020, and the FA Cup Final is 23 May.

Nope. Premiership play off final 2nd leg is 24th May 2020.
Betfair now have their odds for the league & are the same as Paddy Power -
Dundee Utd 11/4
Dundee 7/2
Partick 7/2
Ayr 6
ICT 13/2
Dunfermline 9
Morton 18
Queens 25
Arbroath 25
Alloa 50
We should be happy to be favourites, even if it's narrow. We would have been favourites in two of our three previous C'ship campaigns so hopefully 3rd time lucky.

I'd have expected ICT to be shorter than that given their run in last season. I think that flatters Ayr who will be weaker without doubt and both the Dees and Thistle are slightly unknown quantities.
