Someone had to be there to turn the lights on while Thompson was knocking back lattes in Neros I suppose. Can’t really understand why his services were required for the past year though.

Thought he made a lot of decisions regarding ticketing that made absolutely no sense.

Thank f*ck. General consensus was he was picking up an astronomical wage for what he was doing.

No idea how much he had to do with it but our rapid decline began the year he was appointed. Hopefully it is over and his departure is a sign of better things that seem to be coming.

I am not surprised to see this guy leave and to be honest I thought he would have been away far sooner once the new owners got their own people in place.

I have not heard anything positive about his impact so clearly no loss going forward, I still wonder if it is more than coincidence that his arrival happened to match what has been a terrible few years for the club.

There was a reason that Ann Budge got rid of him at Hearts, he was useless. Step forward ST with tbe bright idea of giving the guy a salary to do the square root of fuck all.

I've no real idea what he did, but the departure of Southern Comfort's many supporters for some reason.

Correct. The whole queuing up for tickets for home games came from him.

Thompson had no problem with people taking six-figure salaries to do fuck all.

Just think if ST didn't bring in and pay Southern a six figure salary, he could have afforded the compensation to bribin Tommy Wright instead of Mixu.
