I wonder if Scott Allardice could’ve contributed something for us or if he was another one who was destined for great things and it never worked out.

i've no idea how hes doing at bohs but i thought he was punted too early from united - maybe we didn't know what his correct position was? Stilla young lad

Some goal from that lad right enough. Always thought Allardice was a centre half but he seems to be playing midfield at Bohemians too.
Over the past few years very few young players have been given a decent chance at United, and I hope Robbie shows more confidence in them this season.

Allardice did not have the pace or mobility to play at even our level. Some players maybe have not have had a chance at UTD Allardice was not one of them.

Tend to agree that he did often look slow and immobile.
His performance at Inverness away on the first day of season 2017-18 wasn’t great and I can’t remember another full game he had.
Reminded me sort of post-injury Fyvie.
Probably suffered from being the best of a poor crop of youngsters coming through who were trying to follow the path of players like Gauld before them.
