Joni Mitchell - Both Sides, Now

Flipped over this decision about 10 times.
I fucking love 'Katy Song' by Red House Painters. I normally get bored with tracks over the 4 minute mark and feel it's overkill and the track could be trimmed down. Listening to this 8 minute track, I never want it to end. It's haunting, it's sublime.
But, I feel, one track just pips it.
Joni Mitchell - Both Sides, Now
To use the analogy of clouds as a metaphor for love is very inspired and clever.
The final line where Joni (an intelligent, World weary woman confesses) 'I really don't know life, I really don't know life at all', accompanied with the haunting string and horns.
Well.
