Dundee's Tangerine

Guessing this is to rival clubs like aberdeens Aberdna.

So assuming you go to most games - then 0 savings as it's up to a limit.
10% off the club shop- once.
You can BUY a pin badge (I've had them made in small batches before - under 2 quid uric
And you can save up points to get priority tickets...

Not really that good a deal. How many times, other than st Mirren away, has there been a scramble for tickets?

Seems like you get v little out of it??? Am I being overly pessimistic?

I agree. The only scramble for tickets will be dens but for the amount we get every season card holder will get one.
It's just another way of getting money off ye.

I'm not against it as such but dont think it really represents particularly good value

Re: Dundee's Tangerine

We do not need a loyalty points system in place at Dundee Utd. We get somewhere in the region of 3600 tickets for Dens. And will only be an issue if we get to a play off final again.

Re: Dundee's Tangerine

Its not about loyalty points really. Its about the club building up knowledge of the more infrequent fans and targetting them with mail social media ect in an attempt to try and get them to be regular attenders. Makes sense to me.

Re: Dundee's Tangerine

Skimmed over the post on the United Facebook page so not entirely sure about the whole thing.

In a question: is it worth getting despite already having a season ticket?

How about not bumping the patg prices up to a ridiculous amount for the championship or now charging £380 for a season ticket. How about getting the manager to try and play open attractive football.
Just a couple of things that may attract folk back without paying £30 for a members card to find that out.

Re: Dundee's Tangerine

A one of 10% shop discount and can only use it 15 times to get your £2 off entry. Its totally pointless to get it not having a season ticket never mind wasting £30 on it if you have already got a season ticket.
Oh dont forget you can buy a pin badge for a fiver!!

Re: Dundee's Tangerine

If you are going to go to 15 games guaranteed but somehow can't afford a season ticket and were also planning to spend over £300 in the club shop it is probably worth it.  Otherwise...

Opportunity missed for me.  Should have done it for free in the first year and got hold of the customer data.  No discount on matches and a smaller one off discount in the shop.  Then build it up and if it is thought of as useful then charge for it next season.

Easy to knock though - at least we are trying something new.

If you cant afford a season ticket at the cheapest price then i highly doubt you will be in a position to spend £300 at once in the club shop to get 10% discount.

That was my point.  If they'd thrown in the pin badge for free though...
