The time to be promoted!
Sair as fk after that penalties defeat.
Trying to explain tae the bairns who have supported us home and away this season mair than maist at a young age that defeats and dissapointments make the times to celebrate celebrated best.
That's how fitba works. Painfull at times but we carry on.
Season ticket sales will be important and the backing each teams owners more so.
Edit to say- I'll be buying 3 season tickets the morn.

More Important that the owners back Robbie and the fans. We need out this shit hole. We need a side that will crush this league.

Fuck robbie. He bottled it today and celebrated when it went to penalties.

Dundee being down with us is no silver lining. It now puts even more pressure on the team to win the league next season. Given our previous 3 title challenges have been non existent there's going to need to be a massive overhaul for next season preferably with players who aren't total bottle merchants.

Tony Ashgar time to live up to some of the q&A promises made on here over to you pal

Sorry I don’t see how people are talking about Tony Ashgar must do this and that, and the owner must back Robbie.
Robbie got backed to the hilt for today and fucked it big style, again. He was backed enough in January to mean that the owner realistically shouldn’t have had to put anymore money if we stayed down but he was beaten by one of the worst premiership teams ever.
Robbie’s running out of lives and is honestly lucky that he ain’t getting the bullet tonight.

Tony said regardless of league plans were in place so now we haven’t gone up his and Mal’s serious work begins.
Nothing negative just hopefully he comes good on some of the ideas he brought up and we start to rebuild properly.
He’s our sporting director so his job is to assist the manager wasn’t a dig in any way, far too much infighting from angry arabs the night as it’s still raw.

He probably should but he won’t.
It’s the age old question of who do we get in that’d be better.
This support has been put through the ringer in the last 3 years and once again the fans are let down despite the tremendous backing we’ve given not just over the last 2 weeks but over the course of the season.
I’ve been at games from Dingwall to Dumfries this season and I’ll be there again next but I’m not sure how much more the average punter can take and if I’m honest I don’t blame them.

Totally, not having a go at you at all, just the manager tonight.
Past couple of seasons I could understand some of the deflection away from the manager and players to the board room and owner/chairman but not tonight.
Backed to the hilt by a man who’s brought in fresh ideas and some positivity and he’ll be bitterly disappointed tonight.
Nowhere for the management team and players to go tonight. Let us and the new ownership down big style..

Yeah he was backed in January but easier said than done from there on, January window always difficult bc the players who are available are available cos theyre not good enough for clubs theyre at. We were so bad we HAD to make a splash but not easy to knit together the side from there.
He deserves another go next season. Needs to get his business done early in the summer no excuses now.

Like me you travel everywhere, I respect that. Went ton train from Dundee to Dumfries earlier in season as nae one wanted to go. Left Dundee at half 7 and got back in Dundee at 11pm. It's just what we do. I love it.

While with my rational head on I probably agree, I do think he’s made a massive balls up today and not for the first time.
Not every signing is going to be a success and some don’t work out for different reasons but multiple of his signings have been categoric failures and he has to take a lot of the blame.
Defeats like the 5-0 to Ayr at home shouldn’t be accept, regardless of the squad he inherited, and lots of those players are still being played.
Whilst I think he deserves the start of the season, the pressure is on from the get out and I’m not sure he can handle the heat.
But I’m still on the bev to try to forget this afternoon and I’m sure most of that reads like gibberish, apologies.

Out: Šafranko, Booth, Watson, Clark, Stanton, Cammy Smith, Frans,Everyone signed by Csaba except Siegrist and Bouhenna.
In: Striker, or two, a centre mid who can pick a pass, Left mid, a central attacking mid, left back, right back (already signed).
The defence is fine for next season IMO, impressed with Connolly and Reynolds. Need full backs that can deliver decent balls and add width. Someone who can take the ball in midfield like Fyvie before his injury, a pacy winger, and a creative attacking mid would do me nicely. League is there for the taking and we really NEED to win it this year.

I think Connolly is average at best.
Smith should be a good singing at rb.

I hope you are only putting Safranko in the out because we won’t be able to resign him, not because he ain’t good enough because he most certainly is.
As for Connolly, good chance we win today if he doesn’t balloon the ball into the path of their striker.

Yeah, should've made that clear, I'd take him back but for the money touted (200k+) he is out of our price range, even if we had got promoted probably.
You're right, but turfing him out for that mistake is the wrong move. He's comfortably better than anything else we've got, or had over the last 4 years IMO.

Still raw and sure everyone else is but I just want RN to answer why when he makes a substitution is it never a straight swap for a player not doing it to on he hope will, seems every attacking subbie involves 3 players moving to a new position and we seem to lose shape an structure - happened so many times and was same under previous managers!

Agreed. Wtf is with moving McMullan to center and Safranko out wide? Didn’t work first came and didn’t work second. As for Connolly? Can’t believe anyone can be happy with that clown. Absolute brutal watching him punt ball after ball to nowhere—be as well as playing 4-0-6. Got what we deserved today. Connolly should’ve been red carded, Pawlett possibly too and the St MIrren guy was unlucky to see red. To be honest that team wouldn’t last ten minutes if we went up.

The thought of being in the same league as the fun fulls me with nothing but trepidation after the last 4 and a half years.
Hard to put into words what I’m thinking and feeling tonight.
Can’t tell if this feels worse than Hamilton or not.
Gutted, again.

I've tried to get behind him despite my reservations.
But i'm just not warming to him. He's not a 'bad' Manager by any means, but I just find him (for want of a better word) a bit 'beige' in interviews and the football we play is terrible to watch. Slow, cautious, defensive.
That he's not Csaba Laszlo should not be the barometer of success by which we judge a DUFC Manager.
No tears will be shed by me if Mr Ogren decides to go with his own man.

Agree with both of yous here. Id just add that since about 5 or even 6 year ago... no cunts had a clue what our best 11 should be, what our system is, whether there is a system to fit the playing personnel.
Give him the summer. He'll have a chance here to sign players who want to be here and cart out any dead wood. See if he works a system into place. Fucked again if not.
