Well lads, we are almost there. Just 24 hours from the day of our biggest match in 2 years and a 90 minutes of football that will define our whole season in terms of it being a successful one or, ultimately, a failure again.
In our last 3 Play-Off Final matches we have failed to score a goal (the two previous Hamilton Accies matches from 16/17 and Thursday night versus St.Mirren). If we fail to score again on Sunday then we really only have ourselves to blame for another season resigned to the Scottish Championship, Irn Bru Cup etc etc.
Much debate about who was good, bad and indifferent on Thursday. What team you boys want to see play our biggest game of the season?
I think I would go.
……………....…..Siegrest…………….
...Watson....Connolly....Reynolds...Booth
..McMullan..Bouhenna...Harkes...Robson
....................Safranko.....Clark............
Subs - Laidlaw, Sow, Pawlett, C. Smith
Frans, Stanton, M.Smith
I really hope Neilson isn't so negative again and takes off 2 strikers and pushes McMullan up top if it's not going to plan. We need him wide to run at their players. Would like to see Cammy Smith at some point if need be. They let him go remember. He has a wee point to prove to them.

I’d start Sow with Clark on the bench. He’s more likely to be able to make a difference against tired legs late in the game if we need it imo.
Same team for me. I don't agree that Neilson was negative on Thursday. More cautious and playing the game over 180 minutes.
My opinion could change on that after Sunday. He has a tendency to over-think things IMO.

Agreed. Clark will come on and score the winner.

A real lack of options to change things positively. Unfortunately, Connolly and Reynolds and their distribution reminds me of Paul Quinn last season, where the opposition didn't bother harassing them when they had the ball for the most part.
We've badly missed a fit Fyvie type this year, with the result that too many aimless balls are played out from the back.
From those available, assuming Butcher is out, I'd start:
……………....…..Siegrest…………….
...Watson....Connolly....Reynolds...Booth
..McMullan..Bouhenna...Harkes...Robson
....................Safranko.....Sow or Pawlett............
Can't decide on a partner for Safranko, but we have to try something a wee bit different.

Siegrist
Watson
Connolly
Reynolds
Booth
McMullan
Bouhenna
Harkes
Robson
Safranko
Sow
Sow and Safranko linked really well against Falkirk so would like to see that again with Clark on for Sow about 70 minutes in.
Offline
Pawlett will get an injection so can play 60 mins or so before being replaced by Booth and we will then move Robson up the park.
Safranko snd Sow to start Clark to come on for Sow.
Siegrist
Watson
Connolly
Reynolds
Robson
McMullan
Harkes
Bouhenna
Pawlett
Sow

Couldn't give a fuck about social media posts as maist are just angry impulsive gobshite posts .
The 800 to 1800 who dedicate time to regularily follow and support us won't gibber such shite.

Whats to get over? The twitter getting hacked? Dont care. It takes a bit longer to get over that today though. Fair play on your positive attitude, will take a bit longer that half an hour to get over another year in this fucking division

Not the time to be finger pointing.
The team was not good enough over the two legs.
Take a few weeks off and come back with a better team for season 19-20

Was in the St Mirren end behind the goals too: quite a few United fans dotted here and there too. But left shortly after they went down to 10, and United showed fuck all urgency, just felt we'd blown it and the day was done.
Not too despondent about missing out on the dead rubber league, but not confident that the guys we have right now can make a dent on next season's Championship.

Me and my mate were right beside the wee kids who celebrated and got chucked out. We just spoke away quietly during the game.
Utter dejected tonight.

Laughing stock again. Club ended up deactivating their social media accounts.

I fucking love our club though eh tek. Fucking love that 98% the cunts in scotland dont like us. Fuck em. Will make it all the sweeter when the day comes we rub their cunting noses in it. I could never imagine supporting the rest of the sickly bastards.
Im so glad my dad made me an arab. For they will never know the joy. Theyve given me the best day of my life and ive 2 kids. We'll be back. In a couple year ill be back home too, cant fucking wait.
Love our club

Wanted to leave it until the morning until posting as I knew my reaction would have been knee-jerk. My biggest concern was Robbie seemingly celebrating abject mediocrity. Maybe it was supposed to be a show of strength for the players or something but it was just embarrassing.
As to the 'football', I thought we were poor and they were poor. No composure shown on the ball at all. I thought the defence, bar the odd Connolly mad spell was sound enough and should be decent basis for league campaign next year. We've got our new right back and plenty cover at left back. New Centre half would be good though. Midfield is an issue. We need to find someone who can pass. The American is fine and will I think come good, but we need a proper player in there. Robbie has made a mess of recruitment bar the defence. Sow continues to not look like a footballer and Robbie must surely see that an injured (and probably finished) Pawlett isn't going to add anything. With Safranko likely to be off, Robbie needs to find a whole new front line for me. I'd keep Clark and McMullan but that's all.

Still gutted.
We were fucking brutal in that match and ad for the penaltys? Jesus fuck the 4 of them who stepped up not 1 of them put any effort in at all.
Connolly totally fucks up for their equaliser they didnt score so soon i do think it would have been our day.
