Never agreed with this sort of thing, I’ve never joined any supporters club and never will, does it mean I support United any less, even though I only miss a small handful of games a season? Does it fuck.
They should be made to queue like everyone else.
Would be amazed if that’s true but if it is it’s a disgrace.
See post #24
It is not true.

If anyone is going to the Q & A thing on Tuesday, I can’t make it! Be good if someone brought up the point system, be interesting to hear what they say about it, it’s a great idea rewards fans who go everyweek

Bowers will be right enough, given his ties to the fed.
I was just posting what I’d seen on social media, it’s certainly been the case in the past though where a big chunk of tickets have been spoken for before they went on sale.
Feel for season ticket holders who live outwith the Dundee area, means they’ve next to no chance of getting a ticket for Sunday. The club needs to have a better system in place, they’ve known for weeks that this exact scenario was a strong possibility. A ballot type system should’ve been and probably could still be set up, where folk would enter in the season ticket login page and names would then be drawn. Fairest way to do it IMO.

Yeh for cup semis & finals we have been given a good allocation. Even at Hamilton in 2017 the fed didnt get alot.

off to bed for me to get ready to head to the ticket office in the early hours.

I’m sure however many the fed have, they’ll be going to the right people, the regulars.

800 of the 1600 apparently.
Make of that what you will.

200. Some of the Fed buses got refused tickets despite receiving them in previous seasons.

This is true, EEA and Shed57 got zero. Perhaps others too.
It's an impossible job for the club to keep everyone happy. I'm dressing as a Panda and going in the home stands.

Its actually less than 200.
Also several clubs have been told no tickets for them.
There are also several people in queue with 20/30 vouchers some with more.
I believe the club got less than 1600 from St Mirren today.

StMurrn fans claiming we only gave them 1200(Jim McLean Fair Play Stand) as it was what they gave us. Calling it tit for tat. That might mean they are giving us the stand at the side of the pitch?
Edit to say- hopefully they are talking pish.

All this shows is that the final should be played as a one off at Tynecastle or Easter Road so at a bare minimum every season ticket holder gets to see it.
Heading across soon but pretty sure I’m gonna struggle to get a ticket.
Harsh as it may seem, I’ll be absolutely furious if one of the people who doesn’t have a season ticket but has taken a voucher from someone who does ends up with a ticket and I don’t.

Fair play holds 1400. I believe we got the same amount. Got same for cup game too iirc.

Sold out

Queued up from 11 last night. Got to the shop door only to be told they’re sold out.
Security at the shop confirmed only 80 people got in before they were sold out. One person walked out with 306 tickets.
An absolute fucking disgrace.

Always going to be people feeling let down and angry at the club, no matter what they did.
Referees appointed.
Bobby Madden at Tannadice.
John Beaton at Paisley.

Feel sorry for folk who queued all night and missed out, but someone buying 306 tickets must have had 306 vouchers from ST holders, hardly a fucking disgrace.

So you’d rather whole families had to queue or everyone has to take time off work to get in the queue?
