Re: Arthur Montford

Goad. He did Scotsport on STV singlehandedly for years. Sure he left a few year before it finished, when I think Andy Walker was one oe the guys took over.

Re: Arthur Montford

Arthur a beloved Morton fan.But listen to how professional he is here despite his team throwing away the 3points in an exciting game.

He sounds just as excited (or even more so) when Partick Thistle score.

A fair man and a gentleman.

Re: Arthur Montford

Great man from the days of impartial commentary. R.I.P Arthur and to those who knew him "up with the heads"

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Re: Arthur Montford

Sad news. A gentleman and a proper football man. I always associate him with 'Derek Stark, what a thumper!'
