Re: Automatic promotion

Are we favourites to go up presently? Think United are getting a wee bit of momentum going, although results haven't been what we hoped for.

Also yesterday morning's prediction of

Wednesday 15 May, ICT v United
Saturday 18 May, United v ICT *

Thursday 23 May, United v St Mirren
Sunday 26 May, 2019 St Mirren v United

looks a wee bit closer after the afternoon's results.

But that starred game above ( * ) looks like it could be the Sunday, as there is a game scheduled for Dens on Saturday 18th, Dundee v St Mirren, and I hope these two are within a point of each other that day so it is a competitive game rather than the second bottom team being able to relax. Or even better, Dundee beat St Mirren and the Buddies drop to second bottom that day. But Dundee look doomed just now, can't see them getting many more points.

It's amazing Dundee aren't dead and buried by now with their abysmal record. As it stands they are only 3 points and a GD of -6 from St Mirren so its not quite over yet for them.

Their next 2 games are both away from home first to StJs then the following week away to Motherwell. Dependent how other results go they could be as good as down.

Re: Automatic promotion

If or when we get promoted it'll probably be a surprise and not expected.

It would be mair of a a celebration after what we've gone through compaired to if we did it 1st & 2nd attempt.

As a supporter who believes in chance, law of averages and what goes around comes around(more with equalish finances) I have a hope that's almost diminished but feeling the time might be unexpectedly close and a fkn cracker of a way up.

Might be my mad mentality and hope as a life long United & fitba fan.

Dees revenge the ultimate.

Re: Automatic promotion

That's about it then.
Ross County are a minute away from 3 points v Pars tonite.
They now need just 4 points from 4 games to be league winners.
Ayr win as well to put pressure on 2nd place.
Cat amongst the pigeons at the bottom too, Alloa third straight win.
Falkirk & Partick shitting it now.

Re: Automatic promotion

Ayr now 6 points behind us with a game in hand!
Friday is now a bigger must win than it was 2 hours ago.
Ross County 8 points clear ridiculous.

Incredible we once again find ourselves in a position like this.
